Haunted House

Her mother looked at Maria oddly. "THings don't just fall. What were you two doing?"
"Nothing, it just fell. Like it had a mind of its own or something." Amora said, very frightened.
Her mom looked at her. "Okay, I'm sure. No ruff-housing, if you please. Help me get Maria down stairs so we can ice her leg." Amora helped her get Maria down the stairs and to the kitchen.

"Well, I really wasnt expecting her to....but im affraid something like this can happen to her or to any of our sisters, or to you.." she said shacking her head slightly.

Amora shook her head. "It...was probably just some sort of fluke." She said, but she didn't really believe it. "Let's get you to bed, it's getting late."

Amora helped Mara up the stairs and into their room. They both got ready for bed. She sat down on her bed. "Well....hopefully tomorrow will be better."

Amora lied down. "Good night, Maria." She turned off the lamp between their beds stared up through the darkness, trying to fall asleep.

Maria smiled slightly..."Good Night Sister.." She said as she turned off the lights, pulling the sheets above her head and trying to fall asleep.

Amora fell asleep, but she had a horrible dream. In it, she was in the living room, watching tv with her sisters when this.....thing appeared. He laughed horribly, and he held up the knives from the kitchen. In one quick throw he had managed to stab all of her sisters. They were groaning in pain with the handles jutting out of their limbs, stomach, or chest. Amora screamed and ran into the kitchen to get her parents, but when she got there, another thing was cornering them and knocking them down with pans, would let them get up, and would knock them down again. Amora tried to help, but it was like she couldn't move.
Amora's eyes popped open, seeing nothing but pitch-black, she had sweat rolling down her face, and she was panting. She quickly turned on the light and looked around. She saw Maria lying on her bed, and she realized it was only a dream.

Maria growned...the lights. She pulled the sheets down, glancing back at her sister..."Whats wrong...?" she asked, but suddenly the bruise on her leg burned horribly..."AHHH!--" She screamed, reaching her leg...

Amora looked at her sister. "Nothing, I....I just had a bad dream." It seemed so real. "I'm sorry I woke you. Are you okay? Do you need me to get you something for your leg?" She was still shaking slightly, but her breathing was back to normal.
