"Well," Paul grunted as he tore away the growth at the cave mouth, "It doesn't look very deep...I mean I can see the back of it from here," he said squinting trying to see farther, "Yah I'm going in..you all with me?"

"Yep," Olivia said from beside him. "I'll go in."

Christine didnt like the idea of being left out her alone and thought of what her parents would say and smiled. "I'm in."

"Ok I'll go in first to see if it's safe," he said, "Take my hand and grab on to a tree or soemthing." he didn't know much about cave diving but this seemed liek the best idea....at the moment

"ok." Olivia took his hand and with her other hand grabbed a tree. "Be careful."

ooc: well we can't go much farther with out Sunshine because they all have to fall in

Paul inched his wat into the cave being very careful...but sometimes that is not careful enough. suddenly he slipped...there was an edge and then nothing. he flopped around still holding Olivia's hand for dear life truing to claw his way back up. half of his body was off the edge now.

"Paul!" Olivia felt him pull on her hand. She leaned back towards the tree, trying to pull him.

"Holy," He said clawing at the edge, "there is a hole!" he yelled. he could feel the panic setting in as his death grip on Olivias hand tightened.

Olivia got down on her stomach and grabbed Paul's arm with her other hand.

he clasped his other hand around her upper arm as he found some sort of a foot hold. he started pushing himself up when the soil where his foot was gave way. with a yell he fell again this time only being able to hold on to Olivia with one hand as he dangled off the edge.

"Paul!" Olivia reached down over the edge, "grab my hand."

"Don't let go of me...please." he gebbed the panic in full throtle now, "he tried to reach up and grab her hand with his other but he kept slipping

"I wont, I promise," she looked down at him. "Try to grab my hand."

Franticly he reached up tryint ot grab her hand but thier fingers were just missing.

Olivia moved closer to the edge. "Try again."

"Paul!" Christine screamed. She reached her hand down too to see if she could reach him. "Samuel help!" She screamed back at him.

 

[Sunshine]

Samuel rushed over, his face panicked. He knelt next to Olivia, biting his lip. "Here, let me try to reach," he said, laying down at the edge and reaching as far as he could.

Paul tried grabbing the hand that was closest to him but with no luck. then suddenly more of the cave floor gave out.
