How many of you girls are "girly girls"?

Well I do wear make up,but not every day.Sometimes I'm just too tired...:p
I'm not REALLY girly, but like with everything else,it depends quite a lot on my mood.

Just because someone wears makeup doesn't mean they NEED it. I see women who don't wear any and look awful, and they need something to bring out their features.

I hate foundation and powder...I have this friend who wears very heavy cakelike foundation and powder and I'm trying to figure out how to tell her that she doesn't 'need' that heavy look. It looks bad because her face is sort of a different color from her neck!

Oh, I hate that "non blended" look...that's part of the reason why I don't wear makeup because it looks so fake if you apply it wrong and I would so totally apply it wrong, beside from the fact that I don't really need any (or I think I don't) except I should probably wear mascara because my eyelashes are REALLY short.

And yes, I'm a total tomboy. Dirty=fun :D

A long time ago when I first started fitness, I competed in this boot camp ( really, it was designed by the Marines) contest called Galaxy Fitness. You had to do all that obstacle course, rope-climbing, wall-scaling, pushups/situps, you name it. It was awesome. And I wore NO makeup...what's the point, I'm just gonna sweat it off. I also was tested by a West Point graduate ( older army guy) to do the West Point physical fitness test for women, and I passed. I can still do it at age 38.

Yah, my friend...well, about the makeup...I don't want to hurt her feelings so my goal is to maybe get her to come with me to the makeup COUNTER at the department store and have them do a makeover on her that's more natural.

Well I'm proud of the fact I could do it at my age...I was SO out of shape when I was 20. I couldn't even run a mile. I'm in better shape now than I ever was...and I will be 39 next April.
