How many of you girls are "girly girls"?

im not very girly girl the one thing that throws me off from the tomboy label is my love for unicorns and my obsessive fangirlism ive recently adopted this year

Errr....well, I don't know. I do not like wearing skirts and make-up. I only do a skirt and a little lip gloss on special occasions (weddings....yada-yada). But I hate bugs, well, earwigs, butterflies, moths, ants, and things like that mostly. I'm just weird. I'd also prefer a bookstore to a mall any day of the week.

Yeah. I wouldn't consider myself a girly-girl. But I definately define myself as a girl with certain things. But I would say that I lean more to the tomboy side of things. I'm not too big on skirts either (or make-up).

I'm a girly-girl in the sense of that I like dresses and skirts and that I'm absolutely addicted to make-up. :) And I've got an infinite dislike of insects and other creepy thingies with lots of paws and antennae. Fangirling is also one of my favourite things to do.

But I get along with guys better than with girls overall. I don't know why, exactly. When I was younger I always played soccer with them and so on... and right now I tend to relax more around my male friends, too.

And pink isn't in it either...sorry PINK LOVERS!!

Same with me, once I wore a shirt that wasn't really tight but tighter then I normally wear and I swear I made one of my friends faint and the other yelled and everyone in the caf looked at us. Also I HATE PINK if I ever wore pink I think my friends and family would send me to a mentle home :D

It's because girls and women can be catty. They don't fight fair, they backstab. I'm far too direct and upfront to have many girl or women friends. Most of the friends I've had in my life have been guys. Even now. It's funny because with men, you can't live with them but you can't live without them. And I know that at heart, while I love girly things, I'm not ever going to be the type of woman who goes out with her 'girl friends'. No. I'd rather hang out with a group of men. If you're an attractive woman, you can forget about having a lot of women friends, because they're just going to be jealous. And that's the sad part about being a woman. Men have a fraternity and brotherhood amongst themselves that is truly enviable.

I work far too hard as a personal trainer and a former dancer to be hanging around in baggy jeans and a big tee shirt. I love wearing form-fitting clothes because this is my body, and I am not ashamed of it. I'm also not ashamed to admit I love turning heads. If I'm going to be in the fitness industry, this is what I do, and I make no qualms about saying that I enjoy looking good. That might sound snotty, but it's true. I work hard for my body and I will not hide it.

I'm like Elaine I guess from SEINFELD. You know, that's me...I have my makeup, my Lil Ponies LOLOL, I do love pink but I love black and red better...I wear nailpolish and always have to have my nails and pedicure done weekly...but...I'm there in an instant to watch sports with guys.

@ IceMaiden: Your words are very recognisable. :) I've had quite my fair share of backstabbing and gossip which came from girls... I still trust men more because I've had such a hard time with girls a few years ago. Right now the numbers of women and men among my friends are pretty much equal, but I cannot deny that I would scream with joy more if I'd get to spend a day with all the men rather than all the girls. Girls can be so, so tiring sometimes.

And hah, yes, I do love turning people's heads. I am actually a rather shy sort of girl but I looooooooooove to dress up and be pretty. As long as people realise that a brain comes with it, too, there's no problem. ;)

haha I'm not much of a girly girl at all..
I've got girl friends, and I like clothes and everything...but no, I'm more of a tomboy than a girly girl (but I'm not much of a tomboy either, so...)
I really love watching sports and stuff, but I don't like to play them... I'm weird.
