Although i am really fond of Skandar Keynes, i thought that Peter was my favorit Pevensie out of all 3 of them.
He is my favorite because he never gives up. And he will also do anything to protect his family (like before they went to war). Also, he is very very courageous and has a lot of strength. He is a loving brother (even though Ed totally was a traitor) and he still treated him as if nothing happened. He is a GREAT leader (during the war) and didn't give up [sorry for repeating that]. And also, he would make sure that absolutely NOTHING would happen to his family, he would always make sure that they were safe, and not hurt (like the scene where Anna blew the horn, and Will quickly ran for her, and killed the wolf) And that is why he is my favorite Pevensie

Have Fun With the Comp Guys. Good Luck to all.

Unlocked and Stickied.

My favorite character in 'The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe' was Tumnus. There are many reasons why I love this character, probably most of my logic is because I felt so drawn to this character since I was a child. Yes, James McAvoy did a spledid job bringing this character to life on the big screen. The thing I have always loved about this character was the conscientious challenge that he faced. We didn't see him as this perfect, flawless creature, but we see him with the same issues that we face every day. The choice to do what is easy vs. what is right is an area of psychology that truly does fascinate me. So, yes, there are more reasons behind my loving this particular character besides the fact that I think he's cute. :)

There are many characters in the story that intrigue me. Though in a nut shell I'd have to say the noble centaur warrior 'Orieus' is one that truly stands out. His dedication to the freedom of Narnia is absolutely admirable! The way he answered Peter who asked whether he was ready, he replied to the future King; 'To the Death'. To me that signified his dedication, honor and loyalty right there and then, and the gravity of the outcome of the war itself if the witch emerged victorious.

I love Lucy because she represents for me the pinnacle of faith and goodness to which mankind can aspire. Don't get me wrong, I would choose Aslan over her, but I consider Aslan more than a character. Lucy is truly valiant for she allows love of others, not fear for herself, to guide her decisions each step of the path. Peter, Susan and Edmund came to Aslan in that order, but all of them after Lucy whose valiant heart led the way.

my favorite charater in The Lion The Witch and The Wardobe was Jadis cause to me she shows females can be just as strong as males in battle and how she reminded me of myself at times when I get mad and ticked off

My Entry

Well my favorite character in the lion the witch and the wardrobe is I have to say Lucy.I like her personality and just how she is brave and wanted to go help Mr.Tumnus when Peter and Susan thought that they should just go home. I aslo like how she was not mean to Edmund when he was being mean to her for her "imaginary country" and she didn't yell or flare up at him. And just out of the 4 pevensie's she seems to like Narnia the most and really cares for the creatures.

O yeah IceMaiden. I dont have an email so, can I PM It to you?

Even though I am a proud Willianite, my favorite character would probably be Lucy. She is very wise for her age, and willing to except things that aren't "normal". A perfect example would be Mr. Tumnus. A faun isn't something you see everyday, but she quickly developes (sp?) a great bond with him. She is wise, but at the same time young and innocent.

Though I have many favorite characters, my all time favorite character would have to be Aslan. He, to me, embodies Christ. What He did not only for Edmund, but for every Narnian was amazing. The perfect symbolism for Christ. Edmund messed up a lot, yet Aslan was more than willing to "wipe his slate clean." He also encouraged the others to forget the past, and to accept Edmund with forgiveness. For many people, the character of Aslan wouldn't make them think of Christ, but for me, it's the perfect allegory. This point stood out among others when I read the book and saw the movie. Also, he was the picture of how Christ "isn't safe, but He is good." Sorry if that was too long. Do we have to do something else to enter besides the description of our favorite character?

Jadis, I got your e mail:)

Aravis, you don't have to do anything else other than state your fave character and why you like him/her. Thanks for entering!!

My favorite character was the gryphon becuase in medieval times gryphons represented Christ's ressurection. Gryphons are one half lion, one half eagle, the lion half represented his strength and his eagle half represented his wisdom.

The gryphon was a hybrid of sky and earth, a mixture of beasts that rule over both, a great way to represent the Son of God...

Using a gryphon in the movie made more sense that way, it was like he was symbol of hope that Aslan was coming back.

My favourite Character is Lucy. This is because of the great acting Georgie did. Her acting ability, her lines, and her unpredicatability. Her ability to act was astonishing in the first entrance to Narnia. She truely looked bedazzaled (Partly because she was) by the magic of Narnia. In my opinion Lucy had the toughest part of the entire movie and she handled it like a pro.

I would seriously say that, however dumb it may seem, my favorite charachter was Mr. Fox. He was quite the self-sacrificing charachter, but modest. His line, "Not seeming to be rude, but I wasn't really talking to YOU" was probably the best line in the move. WHEW! Talk about staring danger in the face, and spitting on it! Plus he was a martyr, and respected Edmund, no matter how traitorous, to the last.

That isn't dumb at all, Elf! :) Nice to see another big LOTR fan here. I loved Mr. Fox and you're right about that line...the look on the queen's face was priceless. Thanks for entering!

Hello, IceMaiden, it's very nice to meet you! :)
So, um...my favorite character is Aslan because he is the ultimate symbol of Christ. I mean, what he did on the Stone Table symbolized what he did for us even though we didn't deserve it in the least. He sacrificed himself for all of Narnia and his love was so strong that it brought him back to life to rise up and defeat the White Witch. I cry everytime I see him die in the movie because it's so overpowering and it means so much to me. Many people think of Narnia as fiction, but they're wrong. It's very real because of Aslan. Without Aslan, there would be no Narnia series. I love Aslan so much. He's the wisest of all the characters in the Chronicles and all-knowing and he's always there to lead the children in the stories to the right direction in the most subtle ways, whether they know it or not (for example, The Horse and His Boy). Aslan is the best character in the Chronicles of Narnia!
