Laurel shook her head at the couple as she walked by them. "Get a room you two." she said bluntly " You'd get more privacy."
She knew she was acting cold, again - but really it wasn't her fault. Out of everyone in the group, she was probably the most street smart and grown up one. They may have been in the same age group, but Laurel had the mindset of an 18- 20 year old, even if she was only 16-17.
She didn't fall in love easily- thought it was too much hassile to begin with. Why would anyone do such as thing only to get their heart broken again and again. But that didn't mean she didn't believe in love, she'd just rather not date every guy she thought was cute, had great eyes, or a perfect body. She'd rather date 2 or 3 guys that were nice ,solid men and get it right on the 3rd try or what not.
But then again she never stayed in one place long enough to even have a chance to even like a guy, and the cold streets of her home town of Philly had showed more than once that life was never fair.
"Love is patient, Love is kind, Love is slowing making you go out of your mind.' Laurel thought to herself
(sorry if the out look on love is a little snyical in this, but right now due to personal events I'm pretty much sick of love. But i think the funny thing is i'm not even the one in love- I got myself in the middle of this thing between 3 of my friends, where 2 of them are dating each other and the other one needs to grow up and get on with life.)
