Introduction Thread II

Hi, everybody,
I am the Dragonchild and I have known the Narnia books almost all my life and never would have dreamed to see them come alive like in the movies, nowadays. I have explored Narnia as a kid and then read them to my kids and now they are reading the books themselves (at least the girls do :D). We saw the first movie five times and the second, so far, three times but are waiting for the original version to see it a fourth time (we live in Germany). And now I'm tumbling down breathlessly at the edge of the dancing Lawn. SO glad I found this place.

I want to take the time to welcome all new members. I am sorry that I haven't greeted each of you personally as a mod, but we recently had a serious forest fire in our area and we are just now getting things back to normal around here. So Welcome, be blessed and have a lot of fun here.:D

hi my name is jessica, haha. i'm not exactly new, but i guess i am, i've been here before and i was a memember, but i hadn't gotten on in a while, so now i'm back! lol i hope some of you guys remember me! :p
 
Hey, Jessica - I think you might be able to change your avatar now - try your User Control Panel again and in the bar down the left hand side it should give the option to change your avatar. I don't think there was a waiting period. But I joined kinda weird.

Well, it would depend on where you're posting. There are areas of the forum where posts don't count. Depending on where threads are moved, merged, or changed...it can change things up with the post count and take a person out of fresh bread faster.

Bottom line, just keep posting and you'll get there. Welcome to all of the new people! Glad you're here! Come on in and have fun posting. If you have questions, ask away. We're a friendly bunch.

Oh, and as a side note, it's greatly frowned upon for people to advertise other websites, even Narnia ones. Some are discussed every now and again, but please ask before advertising websites. Thanks.
