Hi there! I'm Auhin, I've been reading the Narnia books since fourth grade. I'm going into my sophomore year of HS. I'm on the school newspaper, that's my main "thing" at school.

Also noteworthy: I'm a Christian. I have a feeling there's a lot of those here. :)

I apologize if I've already posted on here before, but I don't think that I have, so here it goes.

Hello *waves*, I'm Jeanine from Georgia and I'm actually a new Narnia fan. I'm on the third book now but I know that I'll be done with all of them within about a month or two's time, as they go by very quickly. Once I'm done with those I'll step into other CS Lewis books, that came highly recommended to me from other forums.

Hope to make great friends in here!

PS: What are the avatar rules in here?
 
Welcome Auhin Eves Daughter Fan! Glad yall are here! Hope you'll enjoy TDL, I'm sure we'll enjoy getting to know you better.

Avvy rules. Most are posted on the site rules and FAQ in the Tea With Mr Tumnus area or from the top menu. However, when in orange you can't have a siggy. Not till you're a junior member anyway for security reasons. Look for the posts in this section that have the little blue pins by them and most of your questions should be answered. Also, the announcement thread at the top of each forum will help answer questions as well. Thanks for asking and if you have any others, don't hesitate!

Hi to everybody who's new here! I haven't looked in here in awhile, but hellow and welcome to TDL!! I could give you my whole forum spiel (check out the Movie forums for dissucions about the movies...) but I'm tired now, and I've gotta get off soon, so I'll just point you toward the Land of Duffers and let the magic do the rest. :D
 
I feel that I am responsible for warning all you new members, if you actually listen to Olorin's advice, you are in for craziness beyond anything you have ever seen. The Land of the Duffers is a dangerous place which could change even the most sensible person into, well, a duffer.
Heed my advice young ones, I sould know, having lost all my sanity there.

I'm probably older than most of you out there. I'm in my mid-thirties, am married with four beautiful little girls. As would be expected, I am a big fan of the Narnia books. Probably my favorite book is Silver Chair.

I also am a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan and can't wait to see Favre Break all of Dan Marino's passing records.

I love my faith (I'm Roman Catholic) and have a great love for history, particularly world history. Hmmm. That should do it for starters.

Hey there! Welcome to Narnia - well, the forum, anyway. :D I too am Catholic and one of the older fans, even though I don't feel it - I'm extremely young at heart and love to have fun and act weird.

I'm not into sports much, but I do enjoy the Saints because I'm obssessed with New Orleans (my husband's also from there).

Hey there and welcome to TDL! (The Dancing Lawn) There are plenty of adults here besides you, so you should feel right at home... (I'm not quite one of them, but give me a year...:D Then I'll be 18, which should qualify, right? :p) This is a great forum. It's really active, and it has a little something for everyone, depending on whether your bent runs to intense discussion (The Stone Table), movie fanaticism, book fanaticism, plain fanaticism, writing, graphic design, just getting to know the other members, or fun and a wee bit of craziness with the Duffers in The Land of Duffers.

I too am Roman Catholic, and proud of it! There are quite a few other Catholics here, and many, many more Christians of various other denominations. It is a truly lovely group of people. I hope you have a great time here. I'll see you around for a little while, although I'm leaving for college in a little over a week... Anyhow, welcome!:D;)

I am with you on the Packers and the Roman Catholic thing. Welcome to you and all the newbies on here, If you want come join us in Dufferland, or anywhere else for that matter. We are all pretty diverse, just make sure that you all listen to the people with green, purple, or blue names, that means they have the power of the ban button.
