Hi, I'm new here, I'm Cara. I was given my first hint of Narnia by my grandmother, but the cover of her old copy of Dawn Treader scared me and five is too young to try and read your dad's copy of The Magician's Nephew by yourself, no matter how highly you think of your own reading skills, so I actually didn't start reading Narnia until I happened upon Horse and His Boy in fourth grade (not knowing it was part of the series that was hidden in a box in my closet...) and found myself devouring the rest of the series within the next month. I've been a fan ever since. (The story starts as rather sacrilegious, but I hope my continued love for the series makes up for that

)
That's probably a bit much for a simple introduction, but I've always been rather amused that a series I find so dear to my heart was hidden away, unread, in a closet for a good four years of my life.
