Is anyone really scared?

Yay, welcome to the forum Jess!

I don't really think it''l make that much of a difference either. We should all calm down, and wait for the movie! :p

Doug Gresham was asked about it recently and he said that people needed to worry more about global warming than the issue of Susan and Caspian. I don't think it will be a big thing. They've got to know by now that the fans would absolutely hate that.

Remember though, that Susan didn't know she wasn't going to return till the end and that she may have thought that she could stay like she had before...who knows. I don't think it will be a problem. We'll have to wait and see what happens once it comes out.

Good to hear a new person's view Jess, again welcome to the forum!

Yeah... you're right, I suppose. However, they did put in that waterfall scene in LWW, and while I had no objections to that, it wasn't really a problem because CS Lewis kind of leaves you to fill in the blanks for yourself when they go through Narnia to Aslan, save the Father Christmas deal. :p

So how wrong can a Susan/Caspian romance be if it causes Susan to lose her belief in Narnia, anyway? (Or so I'm led to believe-correct me if I'm wrong)

Haha, I always feel this way. There are always so many things that could go wrong, and these books are VERY important to me!

With PC imparticular, there seems to be few things that could go right. There doesn't seem to be a good way of handeling the flashbacks.

Good point gP...I thought that it was handled very well in the BBC version overall even though they weren't the greatest and they left out some of the mythology characters...but with the history of what all happened they did well...most people don't think that the BBC series was that great...but if the new one fails to compare it would be pretty sad. I think it's got more to live up to than the people making it believe it does. Don't know if I'm alone in that, but we'll see.
