My, my, aren't you guys a romantic set, you are almost as bad as Jane Austin's Emma. First off, Caspian barely saw Susan in the book so I do not think he had enough time to develop any sort of relationship with her other than friendship. Why would anybody asssume love on their part where there was no grounds for it? Secondly, If either of the Pevensie girls, Caspian would have gotten closest to being in love with Lucy. However, I think that such a relationship was out of the question in Caspian's mind, because Caspian knew that the Pevensies would eventually have to go back to their world and it would have been hard for him if she left when he was in love with her. Thirdly, I felt it very fitting and proper that he Married Ramandu's daughter, as it was obvious that he had eyes for her the minute he saw her, she was much better off in the description area than his other prospect in the VotDT, the daughter of the King of Galma. What is everybody's probelm with Ramandu's daughter; do you slight her for her lack of a mentioned name?
I personally would be disgusted if they showed Caspian being in love with Susan (and Susan returning his love) in PC because it would make Susan's udder denile of all things Narnia in the end more treacherous than it is now. Such a thing being put in, would almost make me decide that I no long want to watch the movies. I am glad that it was just an April Fools Day joke and a very cruel one at that.
