Is there any romance in Prince Caspian????

Oh yeah? *pulls out Susan's bow and arrow set* You don't know who you're messing with! I am a professional archer!
*nocks arrow and releases it*
*it misses you by miles*
Like I said *coughs* Professional archer...

To use the term "nocks", you must at least have knowledge of archery.
the Irony of you say that you are not romantic is your screen name is: I Love Will!
by the way, even if it was not returned at least Jill had a slight crush on Eustace in the LB because she exhibited signs of it, such as the coloring up when she was near him after he killed the Calormene.

No, not really... I mean, BBC interpreted Caspian and Ramaddu's daughter as kind of romantic... but there wasn't much love-stuff like that. Narnia is not really the lovey-dovey series. Most kids aren't very interested in that stuff.

nice archery princey. u r a professional;)

It's being rumored on NarniaWeb that there will be a little bit of a crush or something between Caspian and Susan for the movie. I don't like the idea at all...but we'll see what it looks like when it comes out. There isn't one in the book...and I tend to want to stay as close to the book as possible.

I know I checked Narniaweb and its true, http://www.narniaweb.com/wordonthestreet.asp, it is rumoured that Susan may indeed fancy Caspian but remember its a rumour. I personally don't mind, my suspicions is that it will be portrayed as a fleeting glance and thats it!!, there will be sparks flying but it amounts to nothing. Has anyone seen 'Arthur', the remake starring Kiera Knightley, the supposed affair between Lancelot and Guinervere(sp?) was reduced to a fleeting glance. That's how much I imagine it to be between Caspian and Susan.

That's all I'd really like to see. I won't really care if they take it a little further, but what's the point of taking it past a glance? It's truly pointless in my opinion, and, of course, there's absolutely nothing in the books about a fancy between the two. There will probably only be a little bit of dialogue if they decide to do it.

Very well put! I agree! I want to leave out the romance, but if they have to put it in that's all I'd like to see as well.

oh nasty! Caspian and Susan? That would just be wrong. If it is too much, that would really mess up The Last Battle (if that one is ever made into a movie). Caspian in VOTDT does like that guy's daughter, but it was'nt all like "OH! Let me kiss you!" It was just a glance and a farwell kind of thing. Then later, they get married when he returns from his journey. Jill and Eustace? Doubt it. They were just friends. Tirian and Lucy....where on earth did that one come from?? he does'nt even see her till the end of the book, and he was just amazed basically at seeing those long ago kings and queens. Did Aravis and Shast actually get married? I don't remember that. Guess that is a sign that I should read the books again.

Hhhmmm....I've got to say that this is a very strange thread. haha. Besides, one of the reasons I like the narnia books is because there is'nt so much romance stuff ect ect. ;) That is me,unfortunately. haha.

Romance???????????????????????

There isn't any romance in the book, and on the BBC version there was no romance and I don't really think that there will be in the Disney Movie.

Okay, I had the strangest dream EVER! When I was reading VotDT last year, I had just finished it and it was really late so that night I dreamt that Caspian proposed to Lucy! And that she had to turn him down because she had to go back to her own world... Caspian was heartbroken. So the next morning I had to go and check to make sure that didn't really happen...it seemed so real! Anyway, I agree that it might be a glance, I mean they are practically children for crying out loud!
