Engagement

Here is my engagement story...I know it's kinda badly written I'll try to make it better:

Jeff and I waited for Zach and Anne Marie to get to my grandparent’s house before eating the pizza I had ordered. (No one but us four was there, my sister had been picked up by my mom, and my grandparents had gone out to eat, so it was very private and peaceful. Personal.) After eating we got in the pool. Jeff sat on the side with is feet in the water in the deep end. I had done this every other time we had gotten in the pool since he arrived; I was in the shallow end. I swam out to him a few minutes later. Anne Marie was taking pictures and Zach had his flip camera out filming, I thought nothing of it because it was them, and they always had cameras out. I treaded water in front of where Jeff sat for a few minutes before he got into the water with me. Jeff swam down to the shallow end and got on his knees—he liked doing this because he’s 6’3” so the water only comes up to the bottoms of his chest—I stayed in the deep end by the later. Jeff had looked at me and said “come here” which I said “no” to several times until finally giving in and going down to him. Once I got down there a few things might’ve happened I don’t remember, but Jeff suddenly held up this really, really, pretty ring and asked “Will you marry me?” I took the ring from him—I might’ve put my hand to my mouth I don’t remember—looked at Zach and Anne Marie then back at Jeff and said “No” (jokingly of course) and then I said “yes” and we kissed, then he put the ring on my finger. It’s a size too big so we had to get it resized.

I have an idea due to a dream I had last night but I can't post it on here because it involves something that violates the age rules. If you want to read it PM me and I can e-mail it to you. Would LOVE your opinion. :D

Something like "The Elementals"

Saeran wrapped his arms around Chakra's waist, his girlfriend sat in front of him in the sand. The two were sitting on the beach outside the house they were staying in for the week with Chakra's sister and brother-in-law. The sun beat down on them, and Saeran had just got done rubbing sun tan lotion into Chakra's back. "You smell nice." He told her as he breathed in the scent of her strawberry shampoo, and the almond sent of the lotion.
"You do?" Chakra was smiling when she looked back at him. "I'm glad you approve of it." Her blue eyes sparked at him.
"Yes, you always smell good." Saeran kissed the tip of her nose. "And look nice too." He added.
Chakra giggled. "Do you want something, Saeran?" She asked turning so she wouldn't have to hurt her neck keeping her head turned as far as it would go.
"No." Saeran shook his head. "I'm not trying to bribe you. Can't a guy compliment his girlfriends beauty for no reason?" The young man asked innocently, he held up his hands as if to say "I have nothing".
Chakra narrowed her eyes suspiciously at him before smiling and saying, "OK." She then stood and walked towards the crashing waves. Untying the bow that was secured at the back of her neck, she let her bathing suit cover-up slip to the sandy beach ground. Looking back at Saeran, whose heart was beating out of his chest, she asked with flashing eyes. "Well, are you coming?"
Saeran nodded. "Oh ya." He muttered as he stood to his feet. He quickly closed the distance in between himself and his girlfriend. Chakra wrapped her fingers around his as they stepped into the water. They only went ankle deep before stopping. "Hey, Shock?" Saeran turned to look down at the girl as he spoke.
"Yes, Sae?" Chakra looked up at him with a small smile, using his shortened name, as she turned towards him.
"Do you like it here?" Saeran placed his free hand on her waist. "I mean would you like living here?"
Chakra nodded, the wind blew her hair in her face. "Yes, I love it here. It makes me feel at home. Why do you ask?" Chakra looked up into Saeran's handsome face. The young man's brown eyes told her he was in deep thought about the conversation he wanted to have.
"I was just wondering, because if you wanted to move here, you know, one day we could. I don't have to, I mean you could on your own if you wanted to." Saeran stopped talking as he was getting flustered.
Chakra's sweet smile grew. She let go of Saeran's hand and brought it up to touch his cheek. "Yes, I would like to move here one day. And I wouldn't think of doing it without you." She told him. "Why do you always question you being in the future with me?" She let her hand rest against his chest.
Saeran shrugged. "I don't know, I guess because it still amazes me that you're with me." He replied, looking down past her shoulder at the wet sand. "And I don't know why."
Chakra again reached up and moved his face so he would look at her. "Because I love you." She said looking deep into his eyes. "Because you don't treat me like a lot of people, you treat me like a person, like I matter." She spoke. "And you don't care who, or what, I am."
Saeran smiled. "OK. And I'm not normal either." He leaned down and kissed her forehead. "And I do.Do you know that I love it when I can see lightning flash in your eyes?" He asked when he pulled back. "I love you." He mumbled before she could answer, he pulled her close and kissed her.
Chakra shyly kissed him back, pressing her hands against his chest. She let him kiss her until he couldn't breathe. "No, I didn't know that." She whispered. "But I'm glad you do." Her eyes flashed the way he mentioned then. "Can we move now? Because my feet have been buried in the sand." She giggled.
Saeran laughed, releasing her. "Yes." He replied as he looked down at they're feet that had been buried in sand by the crashing waves. After pulling their feet out, they walked out into the waves. "When we first came to the beach a few months ago, I wasn't sure you could get in the water. I didn't know if it would shock you or something." Saeran told her as the waded.
Chakra laughed. "Really? I guess that's understandable." She said. "I mean electricity doesn't do well in water, but I'm not entirely electricity now am I?" She asked teasingly. " I just control it." She kissed his cheek. "But that's cute, and I'm honored that you cared." She then dived underneath the water.
"Hey." Saeran swam after her.

Pyralis stood in the kitchen looking out the window at her sister and Saeran. The Fire princess held a cup of tea, hot of course, in between her hands.
"Are you eaves dropping, Pye?" Her husband, Trace (I can't find my character notebook at the moment so I'll go with Trace), coming up behind her asked.
Pyralis jumped slightly at his voice. "No, I'm watching." She told him as he slipped his arms around her waist. "I'm allowed to." She turned in arms and looked up at him, her brown eyes blazing. "You just don't like my attention diverted." A smile grew on the fire girls face. "Admit it."
Trace sighed. "Fine, it's true. So what?" He said. "You're my wife, I'm supposed to be territorial." He defended.
Pyralis laughed. "OK, honey, if you think so." She sipped her drink. At Trace's pout, the girl laughed again and set her cup down. "OK, Trace, my attention is fully on you. What is it?" She asked him, wrapping her arms around his neck.
Trace smiled. "Hi." He muttered. At the heat suddenly growing on his neck, he added. "OK, OK, ouch! I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to join them, or watch a movie?" He reached up and took her heated hands out from around his neck.
"Sorry." Pyralis cooled her hands. "And yes, I think I can go for a swim. We'll watch a movie later." She stood up on her tiptoes and planted a light kiss on his lips. "I'll go change." She whispered and slipped away to their bedroom.

More...because there were too many words

"Hey, you two, can we join you?" Trace called out to the two in the water, once he and Pyralis were in their swim suits and standing on the beach looking out at Pye's sister and her boyfriend in the ocean.
"Sure." Chakra called back. She had her arms wrapped around Saeran's neck, as she was on his back.
Pyralis, wearing her black bikini with blue flames on it, laid her towel out on the sand and laid her cover-up and sandals on it. Taking Trace’s hand she followed her husband out into the water, which she wasn’t very partial to.
“Calm down, Pyralis, you’re not going to die.” Saeran teased her, laughing at her scrunched up face.
“Hey, be nice, she’s sensitive.” Trace defended his wife, pulling the reluctant woman, who could control fire—you know the opposite of water?--against him. Pyralis gave him a weak smile. “It’s not going to hurt you, Baby. You’ve been in it before.”
“I know that.” Pyralis grumbled. “Uh-oh.” Her frown grew into a full scowl.
“What? Oh crap!” Saeran noticed what her frown was for over her shoulder. Jason Stephenson and a couple of his friends were walking their way up the beach. Jason had a tendency to pick on them. He heard Chakra’s whimper at his ear, out of all of them Chakra was the one he hurt the most. Jason was also Chakra’s ex-boyfriend.
“Easy.” Trace warned them. He wrapped both arms around his wife and pulled her close to him.
“Hey, losers, are you having a meeting?” Jason called out to them. “I don’t want to interrupt.” Some of his friends snickered. “I didn’t know you believed in swimming, I would think it would melt you, or something.”
“Go away, Jason.” Trace said back to him. “I really don’t think you want to go down this path.” He warned.
“Oh, and why not? Who’s going to do something about it? You? I know that wouldn’t work.” Jason retorted.
The water around Trace was getting very hot. “Cool it, Pye.” He whispered in his wife’s ear as he rubbed his hand up and down her back. “I didn’t say I would, but if I have to I will.” He called to Jason who still stood on the beach.
“Are you not going to say anything, Chakra? Hi, or anything?” Jason questioned the girl.
“I really don’t have anything to say to you, Jason, but I guess I will give you this advice.” Chakra slipped off of Saeran’s back and moved around him. “Take Trace’s advice. Don’t start this. You won’t win.” She said. “Though I know you think you will.” Her eyes flashed, dark clouds began to form in the sky overhead.
Trace had to let go of Pyralis before she overheated him. The water around them had already started to bubble, and steam rose into the air. Pyralis’s eyes flamed as she stared at the group on the beach.
“And what makes you think I won’t?” Jason crossed his arms as he yelled out at them.
“You never have before.” Saeran grabbed a hold of Chakra’s arms from behind. He looked over at Trace who jerked his head in the direction of the beach, and the house beyond. Saeran nodded. “Come one we’re going to the house. Just ignore them.” He whispered in his girlfriend’s ear.
“Pye.” Trace reached for his fuming wife. Pyralis cooled down enough for Trace to touch her and she let him walk with her up to the beach.
“You’re giving up before anything has started?” Jason asked as they reached the beach.
“We’re not starting anything.” Saeran hissed, his anger boiling at the man. “You are. And we don’t want to have to end it.” He warned.
“Oooh.” Jason faked fear, his friends echoing him. “We just want to play.”
Trace rolled his eyes. “How immature can you get?” He muttered. “What a jerk.”
“What did you call me, Trace?” Jason asked stepping towards them, his anger starting to rise. Though, nothing compared to Pyralis’s.
Trace turned towards Jason, who now stood a foot away from him. “I called you an immature jerk, Jason. Prove me wrong.” Trace challenged.
Jason laughed. “You call me immature? I’m not the one who’s married to a chick who plays with fire, and thinks she’s a princess.” He threw the taunt directly at Pyralis.
“That’s it!” Pyralis snapped, and stomped towards the leader, the edges of her brown and orange streaked hair ignited.
“Pyralis!” Trace called after her but she ignored him. Trace knew how lethal his wife could be, and he didn’t want anything bad to happen, even if it was to Jason.
Pyralis stopped an inch away from Jason and looked up into his now fearful eyes. “You want to play with fire, Jason?” She asked, she placed one hand on the boys arm. “Cause we can.” She threated, her eyes blazed. She stepped back from him, a small smile on her lips.
“Dude, you’re on fire!” One of Jason’s friends called out seeing the small flame at the edge of Jason’s t-shirt.
Jason looked down and yelped. He immediately fell to the sand and rolled. Once the fire was out he stood up and looked back at Pyralis and her group. “What are you trying to do?” He yelled.
“What you asked for; to play.” Pyralis replied.
The sand around Jason grew hot, and the sun had been behind the rain clouds long enough to cool it. He started dancing from one foot to the other as the heat intensified. “Ouch.” He hissed, as he tried stepping on a cooler patch of sand but found none
“Pye.” Trace spoke up behind her.
Pyralis backed the heat down with a sigh. “You’re turn.” Pyralis cocked her head slightly to one side as she looked at her opponent.
Jason shook his head. “You’re a freak.” He looked at all four of them. “All of you.” His gaze rested on Chakra. Lightning flashed overhead. Jason blinked sure he had seen the lightning flash in Chakra’s eyes. “We’ll see you later.” He turned and walked with his group down the beach.
“What a bunch of freaks.” They heard several of the girls say.
“Baby?” Trace said, once the group was out of hearing range. Pyralis crumbled to the sand. Trace took the few steps to her, and knelt down beside of her. He knew getting made fun of, especially getting called a freak, was one of the things Pyralis hated most. He lifted his wife’s chin, tilting her face up, hot tears scored down her cheeks. “I love you.” He whispered. “Please, don’t believe what he said.” He gently kissed her tears, and then her lips. Both were warm. “You are so special to me, and I wouldn’t trade you for anyone in the world.” He looked at her tear filled eyes. “Don’t forget that. Ever.”
“I won’t.” Pyralis mumbled. She lightly kissed him. “I love you too.” She said.
“Come on.” Trace said, as he slipped his arms under her back and legs and lifted her off of the sand.
“Thank you.” Pyralis said to him, as she listened to the beating of his heart.
“That’s what I’m for.” Trace told her. He carried her in the house behind Chakra and Saeran. He didn’t set her down until they were in their bedroom, with the door close. Once there he pulled her close and kissed her deeply, wrapping his arms around her thin waist.

Saeran sat down with a shaking Chakra on the couch. “It’s OK. They’re gone; they can’t do anything to us anyway.” He tried to soothe her. He rubbed his hand up and down her back. “I promise.” He pulled her close against him, and continued to massage her back. It had started to rain outside, large drops of rain pounded against the house. He planted a kiss on the top of Chakra’s blond head. “Do you want to watch a movie?” He asked, hoping to distract her.
Chakra nodded. “Mmm-hmm.” She answered, wanting her mind to be on a different subject. Saeran stood up and went to pick out a movie from the huge selection on the shelves. “I don’t care what it is. Something happy.” Chakra told him from her place on the couch.
“OK, something happy.” Saeran repeated, letting his eyes roam over the many titles of films, his fingers sliding over the cases as he searched.
“Do you want something to eat?” Chakra asked. “A snack? Or a meal?” She stood and stepped over to him.
“A snack is fine. Thank you.” Saeran replied still searching the movies.
“Is popcorn OK?” Chakra asked.
“Yeah, that’s fine. Sounds good.” Saeran still hadn’t looked at her as he spoke.
“OK.” Chakra turned to head towards the kitchen.
“Shock.” Saeran called to her, placing his hand on her arm. Chakra turned back to look at him. “Thank you.” He smiled sincerely at her and gave her arm a light squeeze.
Chakra smiled back. “You’re welcome.” She squeaked out, and walked to the kitchen. Finding a box of popcorn, she pulled out one of the packages, and opened it. After grabbing a bowl from one of the cabinets she headed back to the living room, where Saeran had started a movie in the DVD player. The front menu played on the screen. “The Fox and the Hound?” She asked naming the old Disney movie.
“Yep.” Saeran nodded when she sat down next to him. He laughed at the popping bag of popcorn in her palm, the kernels popping from the energy surging through Chakra’s hand. “It still amazes me when you do that.” He told her.
Chakra sat back against the cushions. “I know.” She said. Once the bag was done popping she opened it and poured the contents into the bowl. They munched on the snack and started the movie.

Is it too hard to read at that color????

And the last little bit...

Pyralis curled up against Trace in their bed. She heard a movie playing in the other room. “Trace.” She whispered his name.
“Yeah.” Trace looked over at her. “What is it?” He rolled onto his side.
“Did you think I was a freak when you first met me?” Pyralis asked. She didn’t want to look at him, afraid of his reaction.
“No, I didn’t think you were a freak. I thought you were a little different, but not a freak.” Trace replied. “Why do you ask? What’s on your mind?”
“I was just thinking about what you thought of me before we actually talked.” Pyralis told him. “I mean, I do look different. I am totally different.” She said.
“And that’s one reason why I love you.” Trace lifted her face to look up at him, he smiled. “Because you’re not like all the other girls, you don’t try to be someone you’re not. You’re just you. Yes, you try to hide your fire but that’s natural, and you should. I don’t want you taken away.”
“OK.” Pyralis gave him a small smile. “I don’t want to be taken anywhere.”
“Good.” Trace muttered before leaning down and kissing her. He slid his hand down to her waist, loving the feel of her soft skin.

More coming.

Christmas Writing!

I'm going to write a Christmas bit....for the season! :D

Elizabeth wrapped her blanket around her and leaned against the porch railing. A small shiver ran up her body at the touch of the cold wood. She looked up at the cloudy sky, she could only see a few stars in a break in between the dark clouds.

"You cold, Sweetheart?" She heard Joe ask from behind her.

Elizabeth looked back at the young man. "I'm OK, just a little chilly." She replied with a smile.

Joe wrapped his arms around her and pulled her against him. "Well, a little chilly isn't good either." He told her.

"OK." Was all Elizabeth said in reply. "Is your leg OK?" She asked him after a few silent moments.

"Yeah, it's fine. It just bothers me a little bit sometimes." Joe replied. "Don't worry about it, honey." He told her, he planted a kiss on the back of her head. Lightning nickered in the near by pasture. "I love you." He suddenly whispered in her ear.

A small blush rose to Elizabeth's cheeks. "I love you, too." She replied, she turned around in his arms and looked up at him. "You know that, right?" She asked.

Joe smiled, and nodded. "Yes, Lizabeth, I know that." He replied. "You prove it every day by putting up with me." He reached up and pushed her hair behind her ear. "And it amazes me why."

"Why?" Elizabeth furrowed her brow at him. "That makes it sound like you're difficult or something." .......

I'll add more later. :)
