Personally, I feel that since Aravis is Calormene, a Persian (Iranian, Pashtu) or an Arab actress should play the part. An English or American (of European descent) just wouldn't fit (too cliche'). So no on Keira Knightley. Just my two cents on that.

I just had to laugh...who on earth would even suggest Johnny Depp to play Prince Caspian?! I know it has to be some random joke, LOOOOL. If Johnny Depp plays Prince Caspian, then Christopher Lee will be Eustace Clarence Scrubb!
 
I think Keira Knightley is too old to play Aravis. You would need to get a girl around the same age as the boy playing Cor (or Shasta)
 
Keira can't play Aravis...o_O aren't the Calormene people supposed to be dark skinned? tan? Keira is white... (not to sound racist) but she's doesn't look the part besides that she's too old. the girl who plays Aravis has to be in her early to midteens or atleast look it. and Keira is too well known now to play her, they need an unknown
 
I do like Keira Knightley,but I sort of imagined Aravis being younger...and I never imagined her being dark haired either.So the perfect person to play her would be....me! :D Honestly I would really LOVE to do that,but when that day comes,I'm probably like 20 years old or something(which is one year younger than Keira is now :p)
 
Heck no... I have lots of reasons: Keira's too old, she doesn't have the right Calormene "look", she's too sexy and pouty to pull off the role of a young girl forced into an arranged marriage... :rolleyes: An unknown is much better.

I think Keira is way to old to play Aravis! In the book i think she isfrom 11-14 years old so I think that she should be played by an acress that is not well known and is forign like from India or some where in Asia because in the book Lewis describes the Tarkkans as people like with dark skin like that wear turbins and i picture them as people from India.
