Prince Vance let her rest her head upon his shoulder, his green-red cape adding a nice plushness.
He continued dancing, though he was nervous. He was not used to beautiful girls putting their heads on his shoulder.
"Do you...hunt?" he asked.
He did not know what else to ask, his mind had turned to mush.

Rodwen nodded"Of cource...if you do not want to leave yet I might leave tonight and come back in a week or so..." she stepped out of the kitchen and walked through the garden.
 
Mara didn't know what to do, she wanted to go but she was scared. Mara looked back at the banquet, every one was having a good time. Mara thought about the servant that thought she was royalty, Mara smiled.

"Are you okay? I'm sorry if my words were too much for you. I should have never said it. Do you want to sit down?"
Prince Vance was riling himself up. He did not know what to do, he was never in a situation like this before with a girl, much less a Princess.

A guard suddenly blocked her way with his pike held in his hand.
"Excuse me, Miss, you are not permitted to cross this Hall," stated the guard gruffly.
He looked like a burly chap with a beard and moustache.

He held out his hand as an invitation for her to resume the dance with him.

The guard moved his Pike to a door that Mara had been dancing to and tapped it.
"Queen's Quarters," grunted the guard, holding his pike straight up. "Nobody but the King and the Queen herself past this point."
