The insane King smiled and held the mask.
He then put the mask on.
Suddenly, yelling, King Herod uttered a cry, he began to shake uncontrolably as the mask had the etched tear back and started bleeding from the eyes.
In a moment, he was still, lying motionless upon his royal bed, blood from the mask surrounding his head.
The royal crown fell off his head and bed and rolled on the ground, stopping by the window. The moon reflected the grisly trail of blood from the crown to the bed from where it came.
There was no denying it after a few moments of silence from the mad Herod.
The King was dead.

ic: BElla watched in shock and horror.
She ran out of the room.
"I've killed my parents," she murmured to herself. "I've killed them both."

OOC:
Pity, for he alone, besides the Jester, knew the reason why his wife died.
Also, he knew more then was telling, but now, she is alone.
Just goes to show, never give an insane person what they want. It leads to nothing but trouble.
But, since the King is dead, a great character, I will give a hint, there is another who knows the true reason, but I'll let you try and figure out who.

Riley shrugged. "Don't know, just is for some reason. I've already been kicked by him today. Can't have that happen to you, now can we?" He grinned, then tried to focus on getting back to work.
 
The Queen was in her room crying her husben was dead what can she do she was alone " I wish I knew why he was like that I wish I had a chance to save him oh well did you leave?" she said to herself while she was crying
 
Riley shrugged. "I'm fine, I guess...Dunno..." He lifted up his shirt and caught a glimpse of the gruesome bruise forming on his side. "Fates, that's a good one. Guess he really got me good this time." He winced slightly.
 
Riley smirked. "I have to, that's my job. I don't get payed to slack off. Besides, I got a worse beating then this last time I skimped out on work." He brushed his hair back from his face and kept working.
 
The Queen got up wiped her face off she went to the stables she saw he servants talking " I'm sorry to enrapt but may I ride one of my horses Please?" she asks
