ic: Bella woke at first light and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. Yesterday's events came flooding back to her and she suppressed a sob.
Getting dressed, she pulled on a black gown and covered her face with a black veil.
She was down at the stables a few moments later, sitting near the spot where she and Dirk had confessed their love.
