Dirk smiled at Hailey, then pointed to a few stones steps where there was a fountain.
"That is a good spot to eat food," he stated to Hailey.

"No doubt she believes she can," Dirk commented to Isabella.

Bella smiled, then remembered who had said that comment and wiped it off her face.
She slid off the horse quickly and sat with her friend.
 
"I'm not really hungry," stated Dirk.
Dirk watched Isabella and Hailey sitting by the fountain on the stone steps.
Sighing to himself, he sat on the grass, letting his horse drink from the fountain.

Suddenly, the blind woman with tassels came out and stared at Jadie with her eyeless sockets.
"Tassels, nice Tassels for a lovely maiden," she stated.

Dirk smiled at Hailey.
"We have to wait for Alfonzo," he stated, indicating to his horse, who was still drinking from the fountain.

"Uh..hello," Jadie said, giving the lady money but taking nothing, and ran off. O_O lol

King Herod had watched them leave and wandered over to his chair. He felt tired. Then again, he always felt tired after drinking his midday port.
Placing the half-full goblet upon the table, he eased back in his chair and closed his eyes. It was not long until he began sleeping, his hands inter-linked across his portly belly, his crown slightly askew upon his royal head.
