"It's snowing!" she exclaimed. Nathariel turned back to him, eyes full of hope and confusion. "You really care, don't you."
ooc: Who were you leading? Myself and Bracken? Or are talking about something/one else?
"Yes, Nathariel. I told you, I do love you." Strangely enough, Mortimer wasn't lying.
ooc-AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
OMGH!!!
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
*sniff* i'm touched.
lol jk lololol
ic-Nathariel's face fell, and the look on her face told Mortimer she was thinking of a painful memory.
ooc: I know what you mean...And I can't decide what my answer will be! I want to fight, but I don't want any of the people from Vanivere to get hurt...Hmm...ooc: neva mind! lol. me so confused right now...
"What's wrong Nathariel? Are you okay?"
She shook her head and snapped out of it. "Wha-? Oh, sorry. It's just-" with some effort, she sat up and moved so that she was sitting on the edge of the bed facing Mortimer. "It's just that someone a while back told me he cared for me too, and that he had changed his ways, but then he-" she wiped tears away that began falling. "He died and left me and I went into my own little world. I wasn't myself. I cried all the time. I went crazy. It wasn't fun. I don't want that to happen to me again." Tears now falling freely, she looked up to him, desperation on her face. "I DON'T WANT MY HEART RIPPED OUT AGAIN!"
Mortimer wrapped his arms around her. "It's okay Nathariel... It's okay..." Mortimer had NO clue what to do. He hadn't planned on this, or actually falling for her again. "I... There's something I need to tell you..."
ooc-......and FF, you actually DO have the right, bc your the only royal member that posts.
*waits for proto*
He bit his lip, and then whispered something in her ear, but it was not his final plan. It was some other secret. After he told her, he looked her in the eyes. "But, I've always loved you."
OOC- You know which one it is. DON'T POSTPONE THE WEDDING FOR IT. >>
At first she sat there, shocked that he actually left without a fight. Then the enormity of the situation came back, and she burst into tears, throwing herself on her bed and sobbing loudly. She didn't care if it was childish, she didn't care if anyone in the castle, and she didn't care if HE heard. She couldn't believe what he had done to her. He had used her. She knew it. But did she? A million thoughts raced through her head about what he had just told her, and a million different feelings followed. Did he expect her to just accept it and move on, or to go on with the wedding-
The wedding.
She was supposed to be getting married to him.
HIM.
This sent another burst of tears.
