There was no response except the sound of her sobbing harder.
"nathariel, please... Hear me out?"
There was no response except the sound of her sobbing harder.
The door magically opened.
"Yes," she sobbed. "But I was foolishly blind and naive."
"No you weren't... I love you, I can't change that. And... I thought you loved me for who I was, not what I've done."
"You used me though, didn't you?" she asked accusingly.
"No... I was at first, but... My heart has changed. Before I asked you to marry me, I had changed my mind."
"How do I know you're not just sweet talking me like always?" she asked.
ooc-ok, off to classes, but i will return later in the day. bye!
Nathariel sobbed even harder. "Don't leave," she whispered. "Don't do that. Please."
Mortimer froze, and turned his head to look at her. "But... I thought that's what you wanted. If you don't want me here with you."
She looked in him the eyes through the tears. "I never said that."
"...But... Why were you crying? I thought you hated me."
"I don't know. I just don't want you to leave."
Mortimer turned around, and took a few steps toward her. "I'm sorry... I know this is alot.... I guess I should cancel the... Wedding."
Nathariel began sobbing even harder and put her face in her hands.
Nathariel embraced him back and sobbed.
