Lionheart: The Epic of the Narnian Knight

Ah yes. It was meant to be a statue. I got the idea from VDT when Aslan speaks to Caspian through the lion wall-hanging.

In my head, I pronounce his name "BAL-bahns" but I've also considered "BAL-ban-ez" as well. I liked the idea of the characters being Spanish in the movie so I incorporated that into my story. All of the humans who I developed in my fan-fic are given names in Spanish that have something to do with their character.

Following the tradition set by CopperFox and TimbaLionGuy, all of my talking animals are given descriptive names that have something to do with the animal. Lightpaw and Quicktrot (Balbanes' horse) are both examples of this.

I would like to thank everyone on here for your kind words. I really feel like I am beginning to get the hang of writing and this story is turning out better than I had anticipated. Hopefully if all goes well, I should be bringing you a new chapter within the next couple of days.

Thank you all again,

-Knight of Narnia

"The Epic of..."

I mean honestly, that strikes an outstand resemblence to, "The Epic of Gale," :p which is a great story, so much so I'm currently writing the sequal; man that's the second time I've said that! Oh darn.

Gale:

Ah, yes. We are both great a writing "epic" stories! ;)

Sorry I haven't posted any new chapters all, my comp went out last week and the only way I was able to even get on this thread was to hijack a computer up at school.

I've been working on my story a bit by hand, so I'll hopefully get it posted once I get the part i need in.

Now that my semester is finally winding down and I have a computer of my own again, I plan to restart this story very soon. While my computer was down, I'd forgotten what to write about for Balbanes' story, so I'll recollect my thoughts and hopefully tomorrow after school I'll have the new chapter up!

If anyone has any ideas for my story, I'm open to suggestions as I am having a bit of writer's block at the moment.
