Love Me Forever

Bennet snacked on a candy bar while he worked. He watched as families came through the door and left with whatever it was they needed. He let a small sigh out as he gave the father of one of these families his change.

Pepper finally got into town and decided to stop by the shop to get a snack to eat before work. She opened the store door and let a man and a little boy passed before she entered,

"Hi" Pepper replied with a smile. He looked awefully familiar but she couldnt quite place her finger on where she had seen him before. "Could I please get some coffee, a bottle of water and a muffin.......and maybe some of those cookies" she said.

Bennet nodded. He got all of her stuff together. "Do you want cream or anything in your coffee?" he asked.

"Sure" she said usually she would have had only water but now that she was working for longer hours she needed to keep her energy up. She looked at her things and realised how greedy she must have looked. "This isnt all for me" she said 'and why would he even care' she thought to herself as she said it. "I mean my dog likes the biscuits here.............I dont know why" she mentally kicked herself again. "Actually never mind about the cream" she said quickly giving him the change wanting to leave as soon as possible. she hadnt slept in a long while.

He couldn't help but laugh, slightly. "Well, you must remember that dogs also eat out of the garbage. Just...don't tell my boss I said that." He handed her her change and winked. "Have a nice day. See you around."

She laughed slightly. "Thanks" she said feeling less embarrassed. She grabbed her things 'I hope' she thought but just said "you too" and smiled as she walked out of the shop.

Melinie also walked into the shop. The smells and sounds of the normal, mediocre store seemed to ease her spirits. She walked over to a rack of packaged cinnamon rolls and grabbed one. She walked over the register. "Hi, can I have these..." she set the cinnamon roll and a pack of gum on the counter "...And a small hot chocolate, please?"

Oh, crud. Traffic again... Sly drummed his fingers on the steering wheel of his car. He hadn't been driving for long, in fact he wasn't even legally allowed to drive, but he was used to traffic. "Late on my first day." He sighed.

He filled her cup with hot chocolate and put a cover on it. "Will that be all for you today?"

Pepper walked towards the restaurant where she worked sipping her coffee when she noticed one of the other worker standing outside. "Are we not opening today?" she asked the girl.
"Oh yes you are but I'm not. I quit. My parents are moving to California and I'm going with them" she said happily. "Nice knowing you" she added not rally meaning it and walking off with her gucci purse in one hand and a pair of sunglasses in the other.
She reminded Pepper of one of those rich heiresses and she always wandered why she even bothered working at the restaurant. "Bye..." she mumbled as she entered the restaurant. 'Lucky for some' she thought as she began to lay the tables out ready for opening time.

"Yup." On a normal day, Melinie would have smiled, but today she seemed to have forgotten how. She paid what she owed, dropped a few coins in the tip jar, and walked out... feeling a twinge of guilt as she realized she hadn't even said 'Thank you'.

"Oh, come on cars, move!" Sly mumbled in frustration. He finally gave up on the main street and decided on a different route. Fortunately, it was much faster, but he still got to the mall late. He parked, locked the doors of his blue Honda, and made his way up to the 2nd floor of the mall. "Working in the food court of a busy mall should be fun..." he told himself, smirking.

Brenda scowled as she ran, late again. It was becoming too much of a routine for her comfort. She ran into the book store to see her boss rolling his eyes. "Sorry," she muttered.

Matthais met Pepper outside the resturant. "What happened to Amelia?" (the rich girl) "Wasn't she supposed to open too?"

Ann looked at her clock, she was going to be late for work if she didn't move it. Grapping her toast she ran out the door, locking it behind her. The streets wern't pack like they usually were, but there's were still plent of people. She sighed as people pushed her and ran around her. Ann quickly walked to the mall when she got closer, she practacly ran to where she worked, ariving only seconds before she needed to be there.

"She quit" Pepper replied. "Mummy and daddy are moving to California so she can hang out with the rich kids and go shopping all day long" she added in a typical rich girl accent but part of her was kinda jealous. "I'd much rather be here though, cleaning tables all day long and getting under paid" she said in a somewhat sarcastic tone.
