NO!!!!! My statistics textbook is going to DIE. (Although burning it might be more...satisfactory. But we'd better have a stove. I'm not setting fire to the deck.)

I've been wondering, how on earth would the mafia have gotten back to dry land if they had won? Not that they'd win, but it does seem that their plan is somewhat... amateur?
Haha! The doctor can be a great asset in the game. So it's always hilariously awful when they save the wrong person each night. We're getting off to a good start, though . ^_^
...Now we just have to decide who to vote for.
As Lava watched her textbooks disappear into the dark ocean, she was so focused that she did not hear the stealthy footsteps approaching behind her. All she knew was that someone was suddenly clutching her throat, and a voice hissed into her ear, "It's time for you to join your handwriting books."
Before Lava had time to react, a voice from the other end of the ship shouted, "Hey, you! Stop!"
With her attacker distracted, Lava was able to twist out of their grasp. The would-be-murderer blended into the crowd that came running at the shout while Lava was bombarded with questions. "Who was it? Did you see who it was? Are you all right?"
"I'm fine," said Lava, gingerly touching her neck, where bruises were already forming. "And no, I didn't see who it was." Over the murmurs of disappointment, she added firmly, "Someone should pay for this."
The murmurs turned to agreement, and as the first light of morning trickled into the sky, everyone regarded their neighbors with suspicion.
It is now day! You have until about 10:00 Monday evening to vote.
The Lossy-tree's not acting like she has before when she was mafia, though. And ferny, loverble, and Frodosgurl all seem more active than usual.
