Guys, though I know she asked you to keep the thread alive, you're spamming. Post things related to either Tess or the story, not pies. And I'm very serious, or I could ask a mod to lock it until Tess comes back. They hate spam, and I would hate for this thread to get locked; permanently.

(While Mara was asleep, she was dreaming of her home and parents, far away. She had cried herself to sleep, knowing that she’d never see her mom and dad again. Oh, how much she missed them. Did they miss her as much as she missed them? Did they still love her? These questions eventually faded as she slept and dreamed. Her dreams were of several days before, before all these terrible things happened.)

(Her mother, Petra, and her father, Obi-Wan, were discussing what had happened to Anakin, Padme, and to Mara’s two newborn cousins, Luke and Leia. Mara was eavesdropping on them, something she rarely did. Her mother was crying, her father comforting Petra. She knew that something terrible had happened to her aunt Padme and uncle Anakin; she wasn’t sure what, but it had to be something big in order for her mother to be crying.)

Petra: “Obi-Wan, what will we do now? Anakin surely knows that we still live here.”

Obi-Wan: “We’re going to Tattoine until the right time.”

(Petra stopped crying for a moment, shocked because she didn’t know about this.)

Obi-Wan: “Tattoine is safe. Anakin will not think about Luke being there; or us really. It’s the only option.”

Petra: “Are we safe anywhere? Anakin will hunt us down and kill us. I can’t let anything happen to Mara.”

Obi-Wan: “Petra, calm down. Getting panicky will not help us any.”

Petra: “I can’t help it!”

(At this, she pushed herself away from Obi-Wan and stood up, angry.)

Petra: “I’ve lost everything! My mom, my brother, Padme, my two children, and all I have is you and Mara. I won’t lose her as well. You can do nothing to make that happen.”

Obi-Wan: “Petra, Tattoine will be our safe-haven. We can monitor Luke’s upbringing. Leia is safe with Senator Organa. At least think of their safety; and your own.”
