It's like Photoshop, but about 1/10 of the price. I think it's easier to use too. Although you can't do everything with Photoimpact. There is a horrible selection of brushes and with Photoshop you can download more. But Photoshop is really lacking in some areas like text. There are very few choices of fonts and it is next to impossible to make anything you write look nice. I usually just use Photoimpact, but in the case of these v I used both.

All of the text was done in Photoimpact and everything else was done in Photoshop. These are all song titles FYI.

Here is their website http://www.ulead.com/pi/. They have a 30 day free trial of it so you can see if you like it. Mine actually came with my computer. I think you may have to buy it from their website. Best Buy is the only store near me that would carry this sort of thing and they do not have it.
 
It's a Gateway, but I got it 5 years ago so I don't know if they still come with free stuff. I got about 30 programs for free. It was awesome.
