Mod Q&A Thread II

let me guess.

1. new members = more members = more activity = busy busy buy
2. duffers duffering = more posts = more activity = busy busy busy
3. approaching end of the world = obviously a good reason for all the bad things that happen in the world

All that MF said :)p) and then it's the thing that the server is actually too busy. A problem that has been bugging the forum for a while, and the mods and admin are now making it better by deleting old or long threads, and moving long threads to the archives. (The last few days were much better in my opinion, but maybe i was just online at the right times.)

But yeah, the end of the world is the biggest problem.

maybe the fact that it was better during the last few days is due to the fact that i wasn't on very much during the last few days :eek:

The reason we keep getting those "server is too busy" messages is because of the 'nites.

Although it's been much better since they got rid of the 100,000 post game...

It is not just the nites. It is the whole forum in general who post a lot. This isn't a bad thing, it just causes server problems. That is why we encourage ALL members to post meaningful content instead of short posts.
 
I have a slight dilemma. due to the server being busy, I ended up with two of the same new threads in the writing section, entitled, "Harry Potter and the American Invasion." I want to delete the one without the poll, but I can't find where I'm supposed to do that.
 
I can't seem to add my friend, Lossëndil, onto my friend list. There is no "Befriend Lossëndil" link on her page, and no friend tick square on my contacts & friends page. . .

EDIT: Ahhh, never mind, it's working now! Don't know why, but it is! LOL Sent friend request. :D
