You were correct, but to keep this thread going I think I'll post a quote.

"Yet I feel somehow, if I may make so free, as 'ow we've met before"

By the way, if anyone wants to participate in this game but hasn't been because they don't have the books with them to come up with precise quotes when it's their turn to post one, Google Books has previews of many of the Narnia books, so you can get a quote from one of the parts that you are allowed to preview.

Close - that's Frank the cabman responding to Aslan's question about whether he (Frank) has known him (Aslan) for long.

"Well, tuck in. There's plenty for all."

Strawberry to Digory and Polly in MN when they had landed for the night on their way to get the apple for Aslan. Strawberry was saying that there was plenty of grass for them all--unfortunately, Polly and Digory really can't eat grass!

"Don't look at them. And whatever you do, don't run. They'd all be after us in a moment."

Trumpkin in PC muttering about the apple chosen as the target for his archery contest with Susan.

"Not that our lives will be very long, I should think; but that's a small loss if the world's as dull a place as you say."

Puddleglum to the Queen of Underland.

This one was not correctly answered before, so I'll repost it:
"I could get no tale out of him, true or false."

That's true; I didn't notice, sorry. It's Edmund talking about Shasta to Susan in Tashbaan, when they thought Shasta was Corin.

"It wasn't really going to kill you at all, that Lion"

That's one of the bullies in SC, talking about Jill at the beginning of the book before they went to Narnia.

"Of course we've got to find him (if we can)"

I'm guessing that's also the Hermit of the Southern March? It's when Shasta and Aravis arrive at the Southern March and the Hermit tells him to run to the King.
