Lucy in Prince Caspian, about the trees, I believe.

"You may eat me if you like."

"I don't understand."

Yes, it was. :)

I don't know about the last two, but the first one was something Hwin said to Aslan in HHB, right?

"It was that--that wolf thing." Prince Caspian? after the fight inside Aslan's How in PC?

"I don't understand."
the dear Bear in the Last Battle just before dying fighting on Tirian's side at the Stable. The poor thing just couldn't understand the treachery of the lies about Aslan that were being promoted by the unholy trio of Shift, Rishda Tarkaan and Ginger.

I remember that part now! :( That book upset me so much when I was little... I almost cried at that part. :p

Well, I thought it might be in the same scene, the beginning of VODT, but then I went to check and I didn't see it anywhere. Since no one else is answering, may I have a hint, or a little bit added to the quote? Or maybe check that that is the wording of the quote? I'll probably wonder how I didn't get that once I know it, but right now I'm stumped.

Sure. :) It was in VotDT, but much later in the book. They're on the ship at the time.

I could add more to the quote... but I that's a give-away. Would you like me to give the entire thing anyway?

I've got it - it's about the sea people. I think it's Drinian who says it to Lucy, so the men don't see them and fall in love with the mermaids and jump in after them.

Next:
"May it please your High Majesty..."

(If I give the full quote it'll be too easy, I think.)

Peeps

Yes! I remembered what the quote was last night during supper, but Reep beat me to it.

"May it please your High Majesty..."
That was Peepiceek to Aslan after Reepicheep lost his tail and all the mice were going to cut off their own tails, I think.

Here's mine:
"A scholar is never without them"

The Telmarine Lord Glozelle plotting how to get Miraz to accept High King Peter's challenge of one to one combat to settle the war in Prince Caspian.

Here are three new quotes:
Must go back. Must help!
An hour ago it was black and without device; and now, this.
I'm sitting on something too. Something hard.

Not sure about the first and last quotes, but the middle one was said by Rilian about his shield, following his disenchantment.

I believe the 1st quote is from HHB; speaker being Shasta, telling Bree that they must turn back and help Aravis and Hwin.

The third I think is from Dawn Treader, either Edmund or Eustace commenting on what they're sitting on.

I agree with Aravis. It is Edmund, and it turns out he is sitting on Lord Revilian's armour. (Or is it Lord Restimar?)

Next:
"That's the island I've been looking for this long time."

correct, Glenni!

Must go back. Must help!
AravisK is right.

Peeps has the right scene in Voyage of the Dawn Treader, but both he and AravisK guessed the wrong speaker.
