Jadie popped out of nowhere with the darn cutest puppy in her sleeves. "Look at this animal I found!! Isn't it adorable??"
 
Jumping, startled by Jadies sudden appearance, Chloe and Sir Godfrey stared at the tiny puppy in her hands. "Cute!" Chloe yelled as she snatched the puppy and snuggled him.
 
"I don't know," Chloe said as she turned the bundle of skin over in her hands... "It looks like that Chinese dog... What was it called?"

As Godfrey moved hastly across the westren roads back to cair Paraval, he went through some woods, where he encoutered the one person he didn't want to meet. Godfrey stopped as he saw the black cloaked being walking towards him. Godfrey on instinct unsheathed his sword, but it was no good, with the wave of his hand the magician threw Godfrey into a tree. Knocknig his sword out of his hand. The Magician then raised his staff and pointed it at Godfrey, rasing Godfrey in mid-air. "Well, well a Knight of narnia"-"at last something to trully test my skills, hm" said Maze as he threw Godfrey inot another tree. Godfrey was badly brused and had several cutts across hsi face. "So knight, show me what skills you have" said Maze as he leviated Godfrey's sword and sent it flying next to him into a tree. Godfrey grabbed the handle of his sword and pulled it out of the tree. Now facing Maze Godfrey spoke "Your the magician that plans to kill the Pevensie's and to overthrow Narnia". The magician smiled and said "indeed, you know a lot for just a knight"-"prehapes you've been spying". "Your two scouts blurted everything, I now know you plans evil magician"-"And when I'm finished here, I'll warn my magesties" said Godfrey. "Hm, that is if you win"-"You maybe good with a sowrd knight, but I've masterd magic" said Maze as he lifted his staff inot a battle stance. Godfrey went inot a blocking stance and prepared to fight. Maze made the first blow, he fired a projectile-like blast from his staff hitting godfrey's in the chest and burning his armor. Godfrey arose and leapt swinging his sword at MAze, but he was stopped in mid-air and thrown to the ground. the Magican then held out his hand and began saying strange and unknown words. Instantly a fire-like shpere was in his hand he tossed it towards Godfrey. Godfrey rolled and then struck at the magician. but maze blocked Godfrey's blade with his staff. they now both exhanged several blows from there weapons. Godfrey got some minor hits and several minor wounds. But it was obvious that Maze had the upper-hand. he kept firing those fire balls and energy beams fro mhis staff. Godfrey dodged a great deal of them, but a few struck him. At one point Godfrey tried to use his bow, but every arrow was stopped in mid-air and shattered into pieces. every move Godfrey madfe, seemd to be countered by the magician. Finally Godfrey struck a deep blow to the magician in the side, with his dagger. But the result sent Godfrey flying into the airtr and inot a tree crshing his arm and breaking his calorbone. Maze with great fury wielded his staff with both hands, he sent several shock-waves at Godfrey slammnig him into the tree over and over. maze the use a technic that cause internal wounds to Godfrey and at one point MMaze was chocking Godfrey to death. "Well fair knight, you have failed"-"And I'm afriad oyu can't be left alive" said Maze. "But there is one alternative, join me and my quest and you life shall be spared" said Maze. Godfrey chocking could only utter one word "N-n-n-never!"- "I-I'll never join you". Maze then in anger raised Godfrey higher and thne lute go, maknig Godfrey fall. but just as Godfrey was about to land and hit the earth, Maze caught him in mid-air with some sort ofm magic grip and tossed him into another tree. "It's too bad you rejected my offer, for that oyu shall know pain"-"I shall give you a long and suffering death" said Maze. As Godfrey laid broken on the earth he cried out in a whisper "Please, soemone help me, please anyone". maze took no notice of Godfrey's cry, for he was so focused on what to do to Godfrey. And as Godfrey laided broken, he felt a warm and wonderul feeling, he thne felt he had strength enough to rise again. Godfrey stood up and grasped his sword's handle and prepared to duel Maze again. maze laughed and said "You fool, do you really think you even have a chance". Godfrey stared with overwhelming confidence in his eyes. Godfrey then swung his sword at Maze, and Maze blocked it with his staff. "Useless, you should learn when to give up" said Maze as began to unleash a fire spell at Godfrey. But when the fire came towards Godfrey, it stopped and burnt out. Maze looked puzzled and he uttered "What!, how can that be!". Maze thne began immiting many fire spells towards Godfrey. but all of them burnt out, finally Godfrey leapt and began swing his sword and inflicting blows on Maze. maze fell backward into a tree and said "Impressive, but I must contest the Deep Magic is weak"-"And it is no match for the dark arts". Maze the hurled black waves of dakrness that inflicted deep wounds in Godfrey. This made Godfrey fall on his knees in pain, the magician was no longer using chepa tricks, he was use true Dark Magic. Godfrey Gasped as he felt his breath being sucked away. It felt like someone sufficating you, while they cutt you all over. Godfrey was beginning to weaken and he felt that hsi life was almsot gone. He started to see all his memories before his eyes and he felt that in a moment he would die!.

"Mmm, I will name her Puffy!! (ooc: my real dogs name)" jadie looked out to Narnia from the tower. "Oh, what's that?" Jadie said. If she wasn't too distracted by the dog she wold have known that was Sir Godfrey vs. Maze
 
Chloe and Jadie who had been wandering the area around Cair Paravel were laughing when Chloe had a funny feeling and blacked out. She felt her body being pulled somewhere. She saw a man, badly bruised lying on the ground, broken. She recognized him, and she new where he was even though she didn't know the grounds.
"Go!" a voice spoke to her.
Running Chloe followed her emotions, pulling out her sword, the one Rimen had given her as a gift. Her speed amazed herself. Soon she found herself entering a clearing and directly infront of her was a horrible man in a black cloak enjoying the suffering of a man on the ground.
"GET AWAY!" Chloe yelled as she attacked the man in the cloak with her sword. He recieved a blow having been suprized by her sudden appearance.
 
The puppy had squealed and went up Jadie's sleeve with and apple in her mouth (ooc: In China they use to carry Pekingese in their sleeves). "Oh no!" Jadie said, not knowin what ta do.
 
Smirking he looked at her with hatred. His wound did not bleed. Not shocked by this Chloe stared him directly in the face. She would defend the man on the ground until her dying breath if that is what was needed, but apparently not. Suddenly the man in the cloak faded away. He was gone. Letting out a gasp, Chloe turned in a circle looking for any sign of him. When she was sure he was gone, she kneeled at the man's side.

ooc: Does your character love Godfrey, too? :p You are weird. Yes this is a small insult to you Godfrey but I won't be 100 percent nice till teh end of teh monthie-wonthie

ic: The puppy jumped out of Jadie's sleeve and started to lick all over Godfrey, Chloe, and Jadie, distracting them, but the poor pup didn't know it.
 
"Jadie!" Chloe called. "Do you have your medicines on you?!" Seeing that Jadie did not. Chloe had an idea. Standing quickly she let out a high pitched whistle hoping it would be heard.
 
The puppy squealed and had it's ears hurt. Jadie grabbed the puppy and put it in her sleeve. She went on the floor with feeling sick and horrible
 
"Jadie?" Chloe said noticing her on the ground. Seeing she was in pain, Chloe stood again, letting out another whistle in desperation. Out of nowhere Phen the Pheonix appeared. Recognizing them, she landed on the ground beside them. "PHEN! We need to get back to the castle ASAP!"

Not understanding the ASAP part Phen ignored it understanding the need to return to the castle, she allowed Chloe to bring Jadie, and Sir Godefrey onto her back and then took off as quickly as possible towards Cair Paravel.

The Conclusion and Godfrey's Broken Spirit

As Godfrey laded almost lifless, a loud sound shook the wood. A roar so loud it threw Maze into a large tree trunk. Godfrey laded zapped of all strength and energy. Mazew arose rather angry and prepared to finish off Godfrey. but as he wlaked closer to Godfrey, sounds of horse hoofs echoed near. And in plain sight Sir Blain and several knights rode towards Godfrey and Maze's postion. Maze felt he had had enough fun and vanished. Balin rode next Godfrey and dismounted. He grabbed Godfrey by the side and ssaid "Godfrey. Godfrey! are alright?". But there was no answer, Godfrey was not awake. Balin andh is knights put Godfrey on a horse and headed back to Cair Paraval. There Godfrey was under treatemnt and helaing, but evne Lucy's magical cordial wasn't able to mend Godfrey's deep wounds. For the wounds where of a deep and dark magic. though it wasn't all for ill, for most of the wouinds where mended, but still Godfrey didn't wake up. Several days passed and still no change, was Godfrey reall dead? or was he jsut in a deep sleep. Some weeks passed and Finally Godfrey awoke, but he wasn't the same. He looked pale, tired and even a little upset. It was normal, Godfrey always looked as if nothing ever fazed him, but this time it was diffrent. He had felt weak and for first time incapable of doing anything. at times he was angry and at others he was depressed. It seemd to everyone that Godfrey was broken, in spirt, mind, and body. For several days he just layed in bed. Like he wanted to do nothing. But despite all of his pains and feelings he managed to tell King Peter of Maze's plans. After fully mending Godfrey finally got out of bed and took a walk. It seemd almost strange to be walknig again and he felt that by soem chance he had escaped death. He had another chance to live again, but as much as oyu would think this would make him happy or excited, it didn't. Infact he felt worse. Many remarked that Godfrey was changed man and that he need help. But all the great advisors, council men and guides couldn't help him. one day Godfrey went on awalk outside Cair Paraval. he walked to the very wood where the Sword of Destiny laded in the stone. He sat next to it and covered hsi eyes as he wept. Was the man Godfrey was gone? or is Godfrey in need of help from a higher source.
 
Upon their arrival at Cair Paravel they were met by King Edmund who had been relaxing on his terrace. "Hello!" he called when he saw Chloe, for she was the first to stand. But when she gently began to remove Sir Godfrey from the back of the Pheonix he ran forward to help her.

Jadie felt odd, weird, and horrible about Godfrey. Her puppy cheered her up. Another thing that was bothering her is that she had not seen Ocean in a while. She walked near Chloe. "Chloe, have you seen Ocean?" then her dog jumped out of her sleeve once again and ran into other Narnians in the castle.
