The Climax Pt. I
Sir Godfrey brandished his sword as he ascended the stair case with his men. Sweating dripped down his brow as he reached the upper hallway. It was empty, which was rather suprising. No gaurds, not sound was heard. Sir Godrey motioned for his men to fallow him. He entered the hallway trembling. THe oak woood floors creaked as they made their way to the next stairway. There Godfrey told his men to hault. He ascended the spiraling stone steps and reached a chamber. There he saw a figure standing on balcony. He knew immediatly who it was.
The shadowy figure turned, his red eyes beaming. His face was pale and a terrible smile made him altogether disturbing. As he stepped into the chamber his appearnce became even more menacing, he was taller than Godfrey had remembered. He held no sword, but that didn't matter, for Mizar had many powers. He was capable of anything. Yet despite Mizar's intimating apperance, Godfrey stepped forward.
Mizar: Welcome, I've been expecting you..
Mizar ushered with his hand to a seat, it leviated and moved to Godfrey's postion.
Mizar: Have a seat.
Godfrey: I didn't come here to talk.
Mizar: No? I didn't suspect so.
Godfrey: I've come to apprehend you, to envoke justice!
Mizar: Really? You and what army?
Godfrey: I need not an army, I have come this time prepared.
Mizar: Really? You seemed fairly nervious, I can see the sweat descending your brow now.
Godfrey: I am confident, but not arrogant. I know what thou are capable of.
Mizar: Then you should be frightened.
Godfrey: Not this time.
Godfrey stepped back and took a stance, his sword steady and his eyes fixed upon Mizar.
Mizar: I rever your courage Sir knight, but I also marvel at thy folly.
Mizar extended his hand, a dark cloud surrounding it. Godfrey was unmoved.
Mizar: Hmmm.. that's never happened.
Godfrey: I told you.. I cannot be detoured so easily, I come with greater strength.
Mizar: We shall see.
Mizar extended both hands, a shadow encompassing Godfrey. Mizar smiled, his confidence peaked. But as the shadows faded he grimaced, for Godfrey stood untouched and in the same stance.
Mizar: Impressive..
