I'm planning to revive this RPG to finish what I started. I want to see some of my dreams and battles unfold. I want to finally end my part in the story.

I'm going to revive this RPG on July 8-9 and I will continue the present storyline. If anyone was to join or continue with me, please post in here or send me a PM. I guess I will unoffically become the Moderator of this RPG, since Brightlywood has been off for so long. I wil lhowever hand over control once she returns.

The Fog:

At twilight, near the hill tops, a deep fog crept in. The tree line was no longer visible, and the camp barley light. Patrolling around the tee line, the two soldiers conversed. "Man this fog sure is thick, I can barley see a thing" said the Soldier. "Yeah, It's quite thick almost like smoke" replied the Other Solider. As the two soldiers stopped and continued to talk, a quite thump echoed in the air. Pausing the Soldier said "Did you hear that?". "Did I hear what" asked the Other Soldier. "That thumping sound, almost like drum". "No sir, I didn't hear anything" replied the Other Solider. "Hmf, must have been nothing.." said the Soldier.

Riding out of the fog silently, was mounted figure approaching the two soldiers. Creeping towards then like serpent, the black rider raised his blade. Turing the two soldiers caught eye of the rider, but it was too late the Black rider struck the nearest soldier across the head, killing him instantly. The remaining solider began to run towards the came, to warn the others, but before he could reach the bell tower he was struck by several arrows. Emerging from the fog was large group of riders all clothed in black. They looked like lifeless shadows crept across the valley. Silently they crept towards the mountain range, by passing most of the guard units in the fog.

Climbing the step rocks trails they came to the camp's rear, where they would begin there strike. Swarming around the camp, they made a circle. There shadows overcastted the camp, blocking most of the camp fires light. Drawing the black blades they dis-mounted and charged into the camp, Slicing and smashing, they cut threw most of the camp, tearing anything in there path to pieces. It wasn't until the Black Commander shouted, that the Shadow riders realized that there was no one in the camp. Suddenly they noticed that there was burning arrows pointed at them from all sides. And with shriek the Shadows engaged the burning lights around them.

With a command the arrows were fired, spreading across the camp like stars in the sky. several of the Black shadows caught fire and fell to the ground. Other continued forward holding there blades above there heads. Emerging from the shadows of the mountain Sir Godfrey and sever knights engaged the enemy. Steel after steel clashed, as the Knights pressed in to the Shadow's ranks. Thrusting into one of Shadow Rider's Sir Godfrey shouted to his commander "Bulk up, force them back". The Commander did as he was ordered, rallying some troops towards Godfrey's position. Using there shields, the Knights made a wall between them and the enemy. With a command Godfrey said "Now!" and several of the knights lifted there shields and struck the shadows with there swords. Loud shrieks fallowed as the Knights continued pressing threw the Shadows flanks.

At last Godfrey ordered the breaking of their formation, and order them to charge. The mass of knights charging into the enemy, looked like the shining steel of a blade. Cutting through there ranks, the Knights surrounded the remaining Shadow riders, and prepared to end it. Calling for the knights to hold, Godfrey said "Wait, leave them be". The knights lowered there swords and moved out of the way. At present there were only ten Shadow Riders left, the rest were either dead or on there way there. Looking at the closest Shadow' at eye level Sir Godfrey asked "You are servants of Mizar are you not?". The shadow in a ruff voice replied "Yes, we are servants of the Dark Lord Mizar, Lord of Narnia". Godfrey starring intensely at the Shadow rider said "I have spared you, so that you can take a message back to your master". "Tell him War has come, and that Narnia is the land of the free peoples and that the rightful King will soon take back his throne."

Godfrey then turned and began walking away. But before he had taking ten steps he turned and said "Oh and tell you master, that a Sir Godfrey is looking forward to seeing him im upcoming battle." With a smile Godfrey walked away. The then Shadow Riders were escorted to the main plains were, two were released and the rest were killed. Riding swiftly, the two Black Riders fallowed the trail back to Cair Paraval.

A Message for Mizar:

Approaching Cair PArval the shadow rider hastily enter the gates. Dis-mouting they quickly headed through the main hallway. Reaching the thorne room, the two Shadow Riders paused and then entered. Glaring at them with disaproval Mizar spoke "Either you destroyed Narnian forces and axcced my expetations or you have failed me and now return in shame...". One of the Black Riders kneeled before Mizar and took a deep breath. "My Lord, we we ambushed...". "The Narnians anticpated are arrival and the surrounded us". Rising to his feet Mizar glared with buring red eyes. Taking a few steps down from his throne Mizar spoke in a irriated tone "Tell me.., how,, does by royal gaurd wh ois suppose to my best warriors fall into a trap?!".

The Second Rider stepped foward (a foolish move) and said "We don't know my lord, the is no way they could know we were coming!". Mizar turned to the other rider and said as he extended his hand "Was I talking to you?". Rising into the air the other ider began to shaking uncontroablly. Grasping his neck the Black rider trying to gasp for air. At last Mizar relased his grip, leaving the other rider breathless. Turning his attention bakc to the knelling Rider, Mizar asked "I want clear and precise answers, do you understand?". The Knelling Rider replied "Yes, my lord". "How many were there?" asked Mizar. THe knelling Rider paused for a moment, and then said "I don't know, my lord". "A hundred, maybe less..." Mizar clintched his teeth and then sat back in his throne.

"Oh my lord, I havem essage for you: said the Knelling Rider. Mizar turned to look at the Shadow Rider. "A Narnian Captian told me to tell you that War is coming and that Narnian is the land of the free peoples and soon the King wil lreturn to reclaim his throne". Mizar lowered his head, his face painted with frustation and irritation. "Is that all?" asked Mizar. Taking a deep breath the Shadow Rider replied "No my lord, there is more". "tHe Captain told me to tell you that his name is Sir Godfrey and theat his looking foward to meeting you on the battlefield". A deep silence came over Mizar, his face looked as if for moment he was frighten and then at the same time infurated. Raising from his thoene Mizar extend his hand towards the rider and began using the Dark Magic to crush his insides. Shouting in anger, Mizar's Voice ripped away at the Shadow Rider's flesh, until there was nothing left.

Swelling in his hatred, Mizar calmed himself and sat back down. In a bitter malice tone Mizar said "If you want War Godfrey, then I'll give a War!".

Battle Plans:

Regrouping with the main forces, Sir Godfrey approched King Peter. Smiling King Peter said "It looks like you were sucessful in your ambush". Dis-mounting Godfrey chuckled and said "We were more than sucessful, we completely ravaged them". Ushuring his hand King Peter lead Sir Godfrey into his tent, were he sat and explaned all the details. As King Edmund joined in the conversation, Sir Godfrey's tone changed from joyful to serious. "After this victory, I am sure that Mizar will not hesitate to send his main forces here". "Thus I propose we take the army and head straight to Cair Parval". "Wouldn't Mizar expect that?" asked King Edmund. "Most likely, but I thin kstand a better chance fighting on level ground, then being bottled up on this moutain". "Besides the last thing we want to do is indager the wemon and children".

After a pause King Peter cuffed his hands and asked "Do you have plan, for when we get to Cair Parval?". Godfrey nodded and said "Yes, we will take the main force down into the nothern plains, there we will divided it into two groups". "One group will head the seige from main gate, while the other will make it's way aroudn the riverside into the castle". King PEter smiled and said "It wil lattakcing thme from front and behiend, very clever, but there reamins one problem". "What if Mizar suspects this tactic, and the second group is killed before they can even enter into those lower tunnels?" Godfrey maitianing a postivive tone said "That why we have plan B". "What is plan B" asked King Peter with a puzzled look. Standing up Godfrey calls for Sir Balin to enter the tent. Entering the tent, Sir Balin joins in the conversation. After explains all the details of there stradigy, King Edmund asks "And what will you do, if all your plans fail?". "What will you do if we fail?".

Opening up a leather sack, Sir Balin reveals a silver flute laced with crimson trimming and a golden lion's head. "And what is that?" asked King Peter. Looking at both kings plainly Sir Balin said "It's a gift from Aslan". King Peter and King Edmund both stood to there feet in awe. "Did he tell you what it was for?" asked King Edmund. Sir Balin replied "Yes, he told me it is ment to bring hope in the most dire time of need". "And that only then when all hope seems faded and that defeat is imenat, can it be used". King Peter paused and then turned to Godfrey adn said "Very well, do as you have planned". "Tomorrow we shall go home and to War!". Sir Godfrey bowed and said "It will be done my king, I shall prepare the army at dawn". With another bow Godfrey exited the tent, and closely behiend was Sir Balin.

occ: where should i bring lu in i am new to this SG

Well I was kinda thinking that she and Susan would join the archers (during the battle) and then make her way inside the Castle once it's breached. I then thought you could have disobey King Peter and really get into the fight, hower in the end it's your choice.
