well... I usually turn of my moniter, or put something up that says: STAY AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER!!!!!! I WILL BE BACK DO NOT TOUCH THE COMPUTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY COMPUTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehehe. So it is usually mine...

HAHAHAHA, that won't work in my house. You leave the computer, you have given up all rights to it!. You leave the room to go to the bathroom, and you see your sister looking up things for lost, or your other sister playing solitare, or your brohter playing an online game, or your dad playing freecell. No, my computer is like an oil field: We will fight to the death for it! :D

Well, in my house, we have two computers, one is in my room, one in the guest room. But, i'm sopposed to share it with my brother. But i have it most of the time.and its in my room!

Sure Inky - vinager or salt or both!?!?
Both wil be fine, thank you. I will bring some barbecue -- pork maybe, pulled pork for sandwiches. This will be delightful.

Mmmm. All this foooood. Chips and Barbeque and chocolate. I've been missing out. Although I ate just a little bit ago, so I'll only have some of this beautiful dark chocolate. We have NO chocolate in the house! It's like...like...Prison!

NO CHOCOLATE oh my gosh thats sad! I will pray for you!!!

There is no chocolate in my house, either. We're supposed to be lowering our cholesterol by eating low fat, and it is like prison, Unleavened, I feel for you! But this virtual dark chocolate will fix you up ... and improve your memory!

WHB, my husband is the chef in our house (I bake, but he cooks, if that is a distinction for you), and he is a huge fan of the fried potato sandwich (hence the aforementioned need to lower our cholesterol!) -- I just never knew it was called a chip buttie. However, on that program "Keeping Up Appearances," I have heard the indolent Onslow calling for a bacon buttie, and I never knew that meant a sandwich.

As long as we're on the topic, let's have a bacon buttie, and a chip buttie. And forget about cholesterol!

Delightful baklava, Gryphon. And thanks for the sandwich tip, WHB. Now, remind me again ... is tea time a meal, is it dinner? Or do you have another meal after you have tea and before you go to bed?

I'm hungry...and it makes it so much worse coming on here...what I'd really like is a nice selection of cold meats and some salads, and maybe a glass of real lemonade..but instead, it'll be a bowl of special K for lunch...oh why do i fall for the advertising..!

Right breakfast in morning, lunch at noon and tea in the evening. However, some peeps also have supper, which is after tea in late evening. The confusing thing about dinner is down south it means lunch, and up north it means tea, so i think of tea as dinner, but rosy probs thinks of lunch as dinner...

huh? dinner is evening, usually if your sitting down with family it's dinner, but if it's just you in fron of the telly with beans on toast that's tea..don't do supper though..except at Christmas. Brunch is good, as is 'Linner'- it's late lunch and early dinner combined..usually when there's a lot of people to feed and their all late..or the cook falls asleep..
and on another slightly unrelated note i did have cold chicken and salad for tea..oh the health

Ive had brunch plenny of times, but never linner!?!? LOL! Actually, rosy's definition of dinner is far better than mine, so ignore the above!

Thank you for the explanation of tea.

Bacon butties all around, and we'll call it Linner, I like that. I never heard of such a thing.

the new narnian diet

it could be iced tea.
maybe narnia has cornered the market on a new type of sweetener from the nympth's herbarium.

I only want sweetener in hot tea. What kinds of things do we see them eating in Narnia? I remember in one of the books there were omelettes, and of course in LWW they have fish with Mr. and Mrs. Beaver -- that sounds good -- plus Mrs. Beaver serves home-made bread doesn't she? That sounds good, too. Oh, and the Turkish Delight! What else do we see on tables in the CON?

in the play, we had real turkish delight!!! I never got to try any but, the guy that played edmund hated it, but he had to eat it anyway. lol
