ok so new thing?

DayhawK was walking around the island, checking out her surroundings. There was plenty of fruit and enough bird game, but she wondered about deer. Unlikly...oh well. She started to go inland to see if there was any fresh water to be found. If she was to survive this island, where ever it was, she was going to have to find fresh water.

She found a stream about a mile inland and began to drink.

Dayhawk hadn't noticed that another had been following her as she travelled through the island. As she stopped to drink, a figure wearing a black or dark blue robe slowly came out from the shadows. Quietly he unsheathed a sword from within the folds of his robe, then, with a malicious grin and a desire to kill, he quickly lunged at her.

Having her sword already out, anticipating his footsteps, DayhawK swung and caught his blade with hers.

The Wizard's eyes blazed with a red-hot fury. "You cannot contend with the will of Saruman!" he yelled, swiping her blade out of his way and again swinging fast and furiously at her.

She blocked every swing he made at her with ease, "Sounds like this Saruman guy is in for a real shock then," she said with a grin. Her blade was free from his, when she struck toward his torso.

Though appearing very old and frail, Saruman proved to be quick. He missed her swing and, rushing from behind he kicked her down to the ground. "I see you've made the grave mistake of underestimating me. But I will afford you this one mercy, and not allow you to make another!" With that, he swung his blade high above his head, and with fiery glee in his black eyes he swung the blade down.

(ooc I'll let it slide this time, but note in the future I dont allow blows to actually be taken on me with out my consent. Since you got a hit on me, I get one on you. lol to be fair I will let some blows that you imply hit, but other than that dont do it unless I give the ok ;)d)

DayhawK ducked under the blade and swung herself up in an uppercut, her fist knocking his jaw. She retrieved her sword and swung it around at him, "shut up and fight old wind bag," she said with a wry grin.

(ooc: Well now I've been given the disclaimer, so I've been warned! Very well then.)

The Wizard regained from the attack, and took a moment to draw out a second sword. He smiled, and then laughed wildly. "I won't let you have the chance of evading me again! But now I will not be alone." Soon the Wizard and the lone pirate were surrounded by a band of minotaurs, who were jeering at Dayhawk. But though it seemed help had arrived for Saruman, there was a loud shout and a band of pirates appeared to defend Dayhawk, engaging the minotaur in fierce battle.

Dismayed, but not yet ready to flee, the Wizard swung both of his swords at her, desperate to slay her lest she escape and report that he had, in fact, returned from his long exile.

She shook her head, looked him square in the eye and kept the grin. She blocked both sowrds with her own The Night. The Night was a broad katana, and its edge was sharp as was its point. She kept up her foot work and the rythem of the pace they were going. Her body was cat like, swift and light, as if she were a snake slithering through the sands.

The very sight of the sword struck in the wizard a feeling he hadn't known for a very long time: fear. With one determined swing she had struck one of his swords and broken it in two. He threw the broken blade at her.

The blade sliced her arm. A nice flesh wound on her upper arm. Are you serious? Gritting her teeth she charged at him. She was tired of this defensive nonsense, now he'd see she wasn't one to be messed with. She swung her balde in a series of uppercut and diagnal slices toward his face. She jumped high, with her sword coming down towards him...fast.

...and the very edge of her sword sliced his upper cheek; the wizard winced in pain at the terrible sting. His chance of returning the attack was cut off by the sight of several pirates surrounding him and Dayhawk.

"Aye, let's capture 'im and take 'im to the FF!" one cried.

"Go ahead, capture me!" the wizard mocked. "Let's see you try!" Shouting in some ancient tongue, he drove his remaining sword into the dirt and a large cloud of smoke filled the air round about. When it had cleared, only Dayhawk and the remaining pirates were left in the area.

One of the pirates approached Dayhawk. "Let's get back and tell the First Mate what we've seen here! This can't be good news, not fer Narnia, not fer anybody."

"Aye that, First will love this," she said sarcastically.
