Yes!!!!!
Name: Rosemary (just call me Rose!)
Age: 18
Bio: Alway's wanted to go to sea but my mother wouldnt let me. My mother died of an illness and my father died soon after of a broken heart.
I am good with the sword and ok with a gun.

ooc: I was thinking that ya'll could find me in Terebinthia.

Machia knew from what Headless Bill had told him, that some of the crew were complaining that this wasn't what they had signed up for back on earth and that the blame for everything that had happened to them (Including teleportation, which they deemed unnatural and must be evil because it was something Saruman would do) could be pinned on the Fearless Five but mostly on the Captain, Machia and possibly Fish too... The crew was willing to give Twilight and IOWW the benefit of the doubt, because they all pretty much liked IOWW since she was normally less strict then the other FF members.... Why they gave Twilight, who had betrayed them to Saruman and almost destroyed them all, the benefit of the doubt no one knew... But Headless Bill suspected it was because they were all terrified of her...

ooc: Har, har har Machia! I love it...:D:D:D

ic: "Arrr, I don't know what ye 4's problem be with the crew's opinion of us 5," protested Twilight, gnawing on a particularly stiff chunk of bread, and leaning back, at her ease against a cannon as she watched the tired, nervous pirate crew shuffle past them. One of the pirates paused, seemingly about to say something nasty to the Captain about the food or whatever else he wanted to complain about. Before he opened his mouth Twilight let her foot fall to the deck with an unnaturally loud thud, and half snarled at the would-be- whiner baby pirate. He gave a very un-pirateical yelp of pure terror, dropped his stew and ran for the powder room, presumably to make enough powder bags to satisfy the volitale Twilight Terror.

Twilight grinned at her rather bemused, yet concerned pirate leaders. "I be seein no problem at all with this crew. I think I finally be havin them where I want 'em..." She swaggered across the deck to where a younger recruit was rudely dumping her bowl of good stew where he knew Fyn was in charge of swabbing it up. "Oi you! Ye got an obsession with cleanliness, eh? Is that why yer dumpin' yer good food out on the deck? The bowls here too DIRTY fer ye? Well then, seein as ye have such an objection to our cleaning standards, I'll be more than happy to let ye eat up right where ye dumped yer food. Go on! Eat!! And I better not see any stew stains on this deck or ye'll be cleanin' them with Apollo's old toothbrush!!" Twilight bunched her dark brown eyebrows together and clenched her teeth in a terrible snarl. The pirate began scooping the vegetable off the floor with a spoon and trying to stuff them in her mouth. She was so nervous that she missed her mouth every single time. Twilight turned her back and winked at the rest of the Fearless Five, she knew she'd never reach her mouth with the dirty stew.

"Arr Twilight, it be all well and good that the pirates be under yer thumb, but don't ye think we be needin a few less lilylivered mateys fer our voyages...?" Questioned Fish as she watched the pirate scrub the deck with the bandanna from her head and her own spit, not daring to glance at Twilight.

"Well, ye may have a point there...." admitted Twilight, watching half of the pirates dive under thier tables to give a new meaning to the term "spit shine". "Terebinthia it is then..."

ooc: So far I'm loving what I'm seeing - all the tension building up on the ship, and the tension building in Narnia. Certainly will make a good story!

Let me know if there's anything in my post you'd disagree with or like to see changed. I'm open to suggestions for the story :)

ic: "Narnians of old, wise folk of the land," the Wizard said, swathed in his glorious pearl-white robes, "hear what I have to say! You are all in danger! I have dwelled among the Telmarines, and have learned of an evil plot that concerns you. They believe you will strike against them and by force reclaim all of Narnia, and drive them out with much bloodshed and strife!"

Gasps of shock and dismay were heard in the crowd. A faun stepped forward, and challenged Saruman. "And how do we know your words hold truth, Saruman the 'Wise'?" There were remarks and nods of approval among the crowd. "We've lived in peace with these men for many long years now, and have fought side-by-side against many foes. They have always known us to be their friends. Why should we trust what you have to say?"

Saruman managed to crack a small smile, and said, "Why else should the Telmarines place a heavy tax upon 'Old Narnians' and their 'special needs'? Or create walls in villages that separate men from those animals who walk and talk as they do? Or the reinforcements that have been increased throughout the land, these so-called peacekeepers? These are signs enough that you are not trusted. Even worse, they will attempt to destroy you. But I ask you now, will you be ready?"

Suddenly many of the Old Narnians began to nod with approval at the words of Saruman. There had been a strange reaction by the humans lately, and they could feel a growing tension. Now they were in doubt. Saruman smiled, yet all the while containing his glee. He had been away from Narnia only to find it under the control of Old Narnians and Telmarines. If he could convince them both that they utterly were despised one by the other, and one was plotting to destroy the other, then war would be imminent. And his chance to take over the kingdom in its state of emergency would be at hand.

"But why would they do such things?" a fox asked, clearly disturbed, his tiny visage betraying his deep sorrow. "Who told them these lies about us?"

"A band of sea-faring pirates who have long plagued the coasts of Narnia have returned, after being long at sea and leaving Narnia in relative peace. Their captain, Aravis, has made contact with the King, and together they have taken counsel. These pirates have succeeded in convincing the Telmarines that all of you have long been plotting to destroy them. They do this so they can be rid of your kind, and create a nation that is made up of humans alone."

The noble centaurs had listened quietly, not saying much. They were loyal to the Kingdom, and to Aslan; but hearing these words suddenly stirred in them a fierce anger. "These brigands must be stopped before they ruin us all!" More nodded in approval.

"What should we do, great wizard?" a badger asked intently.

"Prepare yourselves for the imminent attack of the Telmarines and the Pirates." He turned away and began to walk. He stopped suddenly and turned around slowly to face them, a grave look upon his old face. "And should you see any pirates, know that they only mean you harm. It would be wise to get rid of them at all costs, for the sake of Narnia...for the sake of your future."

Yes! Twilight and the Wizard have spoken! I'll have something by tonight because I have to leave for work right now :(

Ok. Don't remember much about Terebinthia but according to NarniaWikia Terebinthia is a place plagued with sickness.

Terebinthia is a sovereign island-kingdom in the Great Eastern Ocean, the closest island to it being the island of Galma, which is a duchy under the authority of the Kingdom of Narnia. In Voyage of The Dawn Treader , Caspian X claims that a sickness was going around and prevented them from landing

It was 4 hours past mid-day and the light fog kept creeping up into the the galley and cabins. Aravis was down the galley having a conversation about future renovations in the medic cabin
with Fyn when she felt humidity overtake the atmosphere. She turned around she saw the place being slowly invaded by a light, thin, fog. Seconds after she heard the bell ring. Both, Aravis and Fyn, looked at each other. "Aye, but dinner's not ready yet!" said Fyn reaching for the cloth that rested on her left shoulder and slamming it against the counter. Aravis got up from her stool and went up to see what all the fuss was about. Out of nowhere, Twilight came in swinging from a rope. A loud "thud" was heard and Twilight landed on both feet in front of the Captain. "What seems to be the matter?" Aravis asked waving a hand in front of her face trying to clear away the fog that blinded her.

"Land ahead, Cap'n" Twilight said dusting her hands. She spotted a helpless pirate trying to avoid her sight, "Ye! I'll be needed ye and a few others to 'elp with the anchor!" She walked up to the helpless pirate and grabbed him by his shirt, raising him off the ground, "and not a scratch on the side of the ship!" she growled at him.

Aravis smiled. She loved it when the rest of the FF did the job for her. Lately, she'd taken the role of a mysterious Captain. Not many aboard knew much of her and few had spoken to her. But they knew who she was, they knew she was their Captain, and they knew better than to look at her in any other way than a respectful glance or no glance at all. The latest rumor on board was that she had committed mutiny against one of the many infamous captains, Captain Black Mare. That after being taken hostage she seduced him into giving her the position of First Mate and then committed the mutiny. If it did ever happen, Aravis wasn't talking.

The closer they got to Terebinthia the thicker the fog became. This time it had a brownish/redish color to it and a coughing storm spread slowly around the main deck. Machia was about to yell at the crew for being physically weak landlubbers when he too had a coughing fit. Aravis saw this and was about to laugh out loud but as soon as she opened her mouth she inhaled the fog and had a coughing fit of her own.

Aravis quickly headed towards the meeting cabin when she saw Fish leaving. "Don't go out there!" she desperately said.

Fish raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

Aravis placed both hands on Fish's shoulder and turned her around. They went inside the cabin again and she sat Fish at the center on one of the five seats of their meeting table. "Remember when we were staying at the Knight's castle during Queen Hannah's reign?.....Remember how we would often spend our days in the history room..or library...whatever they chose to call it..."

Fish had a puzzled look on her face. "Where are ye going with this Cap'n?" she asked.

"Remember reading about when Caspian X went on this grand voyage?"

Fish jumped out of her seat "Oh yes! where he met that lady...the daughter o' a star...he was retired, right?"

"I never cared fer Caspian's love life, Fish..."

Fish rolled her eyes and sat back down.

"Remember that they had mentioned something 'bout an island during their voyage...and Island they couldn't go to because it was plagued with sickness?...” Aravis said staring Fish directly in the eye.
Fish snapped her fingers and got up as soon as she remembered, but by that point it was too late. They heard the bell ring and IOWW’s voice struggling to say the words “Prepare for landing.”

Both , Fish and Aravis looked at each other.

“Cap’n? What should we do?” Fish asked.

Aravis untied a bandana from Fish’s wrist which she was using as a tourniquet for no apparent reason. “Here, tie this over yer nose and mouth area…” she told fish as she searched her right pocket for her bandanna and tied it over her face.

Rose was standing on the shore of Terebinthia she had a long dress on and a scarf around her face. She
had leaved in Terebinthia for as long as she could remember.
She wanted to leave if possible but no one ever came or left because of the sickness.
Rose never coughed because she always wore a thin scarf over her nose and mouth.
Every day she went to the beach to see if any ships were coming.
As she looked through the fog she saw the outline of a ship.
She stared at it for a couple minutes and then ran back into the woods that
you couldn't see unless you were on the island. When she got into the woods she ran to a small house
built out of drift
wood. When she came back out she had a bow and arrows and sword at her side.
She ran back to the beach and
yelled as lowed as she could hoping that the people on the ship could hear her.

Kassy had wraped the scarf as the other had around her face, she had been below deck when the fog hit so had had fare warning.

She rushed onto the deck with her bandanner in place over her mouth and nose and looked over the side of the boat.

She could see land all around them, though that wasnt saying mich seeing as the fog obscured pretty much anything.

Just then she herd a cry, a calling from not far off.

It was a voice, of a woman, and she was calling out to them.

As the ship came closer Rose yelled out saying "Please come ashore if you are friend if you are foe tell me and then leave and never come back or you will not live to see the morning."

Kassy heard the cry but wasn't sure what to make of it, or weather anyone else had heard it.

She looked around the deck for an authority figure but there were only coughing pirates, just the crew no one who could do anything.

She needed the Capitan for this.

She knew were the captains cabin was so headed there first.

She rushed down the stairs and down a corridor until she found the right door, she knocked 3 times, short sharp raps, then waited for an answer.

Rose stood on the beach watching the ship come closer. She didn't hear anyone answer her so she tryed agian. "If you can hear me answer" she yelled as loud as she could.

ooc: Hey, welcome to the Pirates! :)

By the way, just so you know, in this game every character in it has a "Disembodied voice" or DV... This means that they can throw their voice to wherever they need it to go... Like a radio/walkie-talkie... So in this instance Rose could use her Disembodied voice to talk to the people on the ship... :D

ic: Machia gave a sharp cough as he stared out into the fog in the direction of the Island... The First Mate had wrapped his bandanna around his face, but it was still a bit difficult to breathe.... Machia grabbed a torch from one of the brackets on the side of the ship and quickly lit it, hoping it might clear away some of the fog... Trying to hold back another cough, Machia DVed in the direction of the shore...

"Arrr... COUGH! Arrr, ahoy thar!" Machia yelled hoarsely, "Gar, this be First Mate Machia aboard the..." Machia paused and coughed, suddenly aware that he didn't know what the ship was named... "Arrr, aboard the, arrr, the Dead Spot... Gar, or maybe the Black End.... Gar, well just call it the Black Spot or the Dead End the second... Anyway, COUGH! We be friends of Narnia and her Islands..."

Kassy heard Machia call out from above deck and abandoned her wait outside the captains quaters to join her on deck.

She rushed over to her and said "Machia, did you hear that voice?"

Fish and Aravis were on their way up to the main deck and about to kick open the door that would open to it when they overhead Machia's DV. They both stopped in disbelief and yelled out "THE DEAD END!" correcting Machia on the Ship's name.

"We'll we didn't exactly sit down and talk about this!" said Machia in a private DV.

Aravis took a deep breath thinking it might be the last clean breath of air she would inhale in a while. After pausing for what seemed to be 2 seconds, both, Aravis and Fish kicked open the door and went up the main deck standing next to Machia, Twilight, and IOWW.

"Prove it!" another DV that came from the other side said.

Kassy looked at the FF and took a step closer to them. "Captain...First Mate..." she nodded at the rest of the FF. "If ye want...I can swim to shore" she said while keeping her head down.

"Are ye mad!" Fish said. "'avent' ye seen what the atmosphere is like? Aslan only know what the water be like...!"

"It could be hazardous fer all we know...." said IOWW.

"We'll take one of the boats..." Aravis interrupted. "If ye 'aven't figured out by now...It was Aslan who gave us this ship." Aravis paused for a moment, the painting in the meeting cabin came to mind. "I'm sure he has given us all the necessary means to get to the Mainland....I'm sure he has provided us with boats strong enough that can withstand even the most acidic of sea waters."

The FF stood in silence for a few seconds, taking in what their captain had just said.

Finally, Twilight stepped out of the group. "Well, what ye be waiting fer! I'm up fer it," she said coughing in between words. She turned to Kassy who was now tying a second piece of cloth to her face. "And since ye volunteered, ye 'ave the honor of coming with me!" Twilight said smiling ...or at least they thought she was smiling. They couldn't see. She, too, had her bandanna wrapped around her face.

Machia turned to the direction where the other DV voice came..."Arrr...can ye meet us half way?"

"I can't!" said the voice from a distance. "It's been a while since anyone has been able to leave the island!" Rose shouted.

The FF looked at each other. Aravis opened her mouth forgetting about the dangerous fog and had a coughing fit. "Ugh...Machia...jest tell her we'll meet her ashore.." she told him in a private DV.

Machia chuckled and the captain elbowed him on the ribs. "We'll meet ye ashore! Do not harm us. We be friends of Narnia! Aslan has called us back..." he said.

No response came from the other side and they all looked at each other.

"'ave the boats ready," Aravis said while motioning to a group of pirates.

"I'll take care of the weapons," said Twilight while pushing her way out of the crowd.

"Arrr Capn'... I be thinking that Terebinthia be gilding the lily a bit in thier advertisements in Narnia... I never once been hearin' from a Terebinthian sailor about this here fog..." Twilight waved an irritated hand in front of her face, not really making any of the fog disapparate. "But it can't be lethal, now can it, if people keep livin here..." she guessed. "Capn, I say we take a quick look about, and find that woman that we heard callin to us. Then maybe we could head towards Galma or one O' the other islands where it be a mite easier to breath... Though O' course we could jest tell some of these younger pirate to start breathin up all the smoke so's we wouldn't have too.." Twilight winked at the Captain and turned a fierce look on a scared pirate who immediately starting to breath faster, sucking in a large amount of smoke and starting to cough. Twilight pounded him on the back and laughed heartily. "Maybe we should name our ship the Black cough, eh Capn'?"

Kassy folwed Twilight happy to have a job and to be able to help, this was what she had always wanted, a chance to see the world and explore new lands, she just hoped her first trip asore wouldnt be her last.

Rose sat on the beach waiting for the people on the bout to come get her. While she was waiting she took out her sword and started to look at it. It wasn't a very elabrite sword but it was sharp. It had belonged to her father and he had given it to her before he died. When she looked back up she saw a small boat with to people in it coming to shore. She quickly stood up and put her sword back in its sheath.

It was a harpy scout who had delivered Saruman the news.

"Are you sure?" the wizard said, his brow furrowed half in anger, half in confusion.

"Absolutely. There is no other ship so sea-worn that has sailed the Narnian seas."

What could the pirates possibly want at Terebinthia? It was marvelous enough that the island had suffered so much for so long, but why the pirates would even be driven to it, or if they were heading to it out of ignorance, the wizard couldn't perceive.

"Leave me alone. I must spend time alone." The harpy didn't hesitate, and took off flying into the beautiful night sky.

Perhaps this would be just the thing he needed to be rid of the pirates. If they were to fall ill and perish, all he'd have to worry about was preparing the war between humans and Old Narnians. Then his claim to power would be within his grasp.

"It's only a matter of time, Aravis. You will pay for the wrongs you have committed against the great Saruman! Even if I have to pay you back myself...."
