Prince Caspian Movie 2008

The Water Horse, whatever. We should all boycott it and not go see it in theatres. That'll show Walden Media that bumping Narnia isn't going to help you get more money from some other movie.

the only effect that would make would mean that walden would have less money, and so future films, like the other narnia films, won't be as good.

If the end product is so much better, than half a year isn't really that long a time.

They've already got less money... that is, if they choose to film in NZ. I read something on NarniaWeb.com that the film budget was halved. Maybe that will be taken into consideration when they are making the final decision about where to shoot PC at....

I was joking anyways, lol. If the trailers looked good enough, and if the rest of my family was interested in it, I would probably go see the Water Horse.

yep yep yep :) must keep a happy face!! look at the upside- now we get a better movie!

I wish people would stop saying they will be so old by the time the movies are out, or they will be dead by the time they are all done.... get over it! It's not like you are going to die in the next year (if you're that old, I am amazed that you know how to work a computer, that's all I have to say).

HAHA, yeah, I agree, my grandma can hardly do anything no her computer except e-mail me, which she tends to do a lot, and talk to hot guys on the phone.... that was a scary dream.

The Water horse... sounds interesting. I like horses so I might like it. I probably don't count on likeing it more than Narnia though because one, Narnia is awesome, movie and books and two, I love William Moseley!

yeah.... i guess in the long run it will be worth the wait... but i hope skandar and georgie dont grow too tall......

It would not be too bad, because they do age a bit. I do wonder if they will use them in "The Last Battle" or their older counterparts from LWW.

I know I'm gonna get a lot of different comments about this, but I am saying it. So deal with it! Prince Caspian's Release Date works so good for society. It doesn't really conflict with anything. This is what I mean: This summer will mainly be covered by X-men the Last Stand, Pirates 2, Da Vinci Code, and Superman Returns. So that all packs one good punch so narnia (even if they could finish it that fast) wouldn't stand as good a chance. Now this winter the world will see the almight Eragon one of the best books i've read that's new. So that needs a chance, and shouldn't be messed with. Summer of 2007 is very huge. You have Spider-man 3 and, yes I said and, Harry Potter 5 will be out. Now how could you go up against the most famous comic book character, and the world's best selling book. So by Winter of 2007 nothing is taking up the glory. No Potter to compete with, so new blood that needs a chance, and no men in tights. Adamson you genius, we will see you in with December 2007 and then again in March 2008 for the Oscars. (i believe!!) Your thoughts about my philosophy?

It's all well and good...

But The Water Horse is coming out in December 2007, and now we have official news that PC isn't coming out till 2008.

I like your argument though. Very well thought out.

Interesting to note in Paul's postings on the main page that they are on standby to start filming Prince Caspian - apparently the script is nearly completed! Of course it depends on how well LWW does, but we all know it'll rock with all of us racing to theatres don't we?

So your questions on who will play Prince Caspian will soon be answered I am sure.

It sounds like we've a lot to look forward to! :)

Firstly, Prince Caspian won't be casted (is that a word) untill september.
Secondly, it's unlikely that we will find out even then, but if I become Prince Caspian, then I will tell you all, unless I'm swarn to secrecy by Mickey Mouse
(if you don't know what i'm talking about, go here and look at question 58)

i think,
andrew will not make any romance in the movie...
that would't be good...
the whole story would be around the romance and the story would't be like in the book.-...
