Three weeks had passed since they all had separated. Emma, Caspian and Caitlin had gathered and warned most of the trees to join them against the Telmarines, though three parts of the woods of Narnia had been cut down and some of them were in the Telmarines side by the part of some wizards. Thanks goodness, none of them had a problem with Caspian, which was a relief. But Emma, during the nights, used to be very quiet. She remembered that once, when she was an older queen, she was a very quiet woman too, and she was called High Queen Emma, the Wise, for she only spoke when she had something useful to say, and maybe something funny and happy, but not nonsense.
She was worry, for the trees weren't as many as she had thought. Maybe they weren't enough. maybe it wasn't enough with them, with the Pevensies. Something was missed... something was out of place. All was incomplete.
In that night, Caitlin had fallen asleep and her beautiful hair was all full of branches, for she had danced with the trees for sooo long...
And now, Emma missed her siblings. Maybe she wasn't wrong, but time had gone really fast in narnia. The last time she asked the date (In Narnia was adopted the months like in her world), it was December the third... and tonight was december 24th. Probably, if they were in their world, she would be doing the Christmas tree while mother prepared the cookies...
grrrlll...
Her stomack roared. She was veeery hungry. That was a thing that she and peter shared, that both liked to eat. She missed him very much, for he was always her confort... maybe her best friend... but he wouldn't know it. It wasn't necessary.
Susan's smile always cheered her up, and the sweet: "Come on, if you studied and put really your best effort, you'll be ahead me with your grades."
Then, Edmund's chess games. He would always resolve everything politely... except when she wanted to hug him. He would always misteriously disappear.
Lucy.
Oh, this time, tears run around her cheeks.
Oh, Lucy! She missed her so much! Her sister! Her amazing believer! emma imagined that she'd be very happy to get her presents, but no, she was fighting for a Narnia that was strange for them... well not that much.
And then, she heard a noise...
- Caspian? - She stood up, handing her dags.
- I remember giving you those a long time ago. -
Emma turned around to the voice... and a man, in a red coat that she knew sooo well, who hand't changed at all with centuries, stood up, with his open arms.
- Father... Christmas? - She cried, half waking Caitlin up.
