Prince Caspian Trailer

I know what you mean, and yes, I have always pictured Caspian younger than what the movie shows. It's kind of a downside. But let's make the best of it!
 
Ah, yeah, I am reserving judgment on that. I am just curious how they are going to communicate to us the back story from when he was younger ... They can't just let the dwarf tell it all...
 
Yah, if you look at the book, the dwarf's story makes up about a quarter of the action, I think. And really, nothing would make sense if you did not understand his tale ... I hope we see:

* Little Capsian and his nurse -- their relationship is important I think

* Caspian spilling the beans to Miraz that his nurse told him all about Old Narnia and how she is sacked because of it -- it shows Miraz's fear of Old Narnia, plus sets up the scene at the end when Caspian is reunited with her

* The arrival of Dr. Cornelius, how he educates Caspian about Old Narnia, and reveals that he himself is part dwarf! That's a very dramatic scene.

* The beginnings of the battle and how ill it goes before they finally blow the horn.

All this stuff has happened before the Pevensies arrive, so it will have to be done in some kind of back story, just as it is in the book.
 
I made up my mind to watch the trailer at least once a day until the movie comes out. I hope we get to see the 9 minute supertrailer that will come out in Disney Latin America or some Latin American Channel or something like that.
 
my family and I saw National Treasure: Book of Secrets yesterday, and they showed the PC trailer....I've seen it a gajillion times online but it was so much more...I don't know, in-depth seeing it on the big screen. I got goosebumps watching it. :D

hey ink- maybe they'll do a narration from Trumpkin's POV; like it was done in the book where Trumpkin tells the Pevensies how he got there and what led to their arrival in narnia. Or maybe it'll all be done in the first of the film and the Pevensies arrive afterwards; sorta of how the prologue was in Fellowship of the Ring...although like someone said it might be boring if Trumpkin actually narrates the whole thing...it'll be interesting.

yes, yes!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw it there too, and it was SOOOOOOOOOO cool!!!! I had goosebumps as well:D I clapped at the end, and my dad was like..." I don't know you...":D

my cousins, who are fellow Narnia fans, hadn't seen the trailer yet, and I must of went crazy because my cousin said:
"Wow! you really are a Narnia freak, aren't you?"

For real? He said that? :cool: Cool! I wanted to shout (like 'For Narnia and for Aslan' or something,) but my brother had been sweet enought to take me in the first place I didn't want to do that to him. :p
Now if it had been my younger brother, I'd have gotten him to yell with me!! :D

I just got back. I didn't exactly shout cuz I was too embarrased, but I gave out a little yelp and I clapped at the end and giggled a ton when Skandar came on the screen. The trailer was AWESOME on the big screen!
My little brother probably would do it with me, but he didn't this time. I shoulda made him. :D
