Man, I totally flipped out when I found out they'd actually started official casting for PC...

All I have to say is that I sincerely hope it's an unknown, and not some child prodigy or something. I think it was Adamson who said that they didn't want the chocolate box kids, or the "child actors," they wanted REAL kids.

So let's hope they find someone good for PC.

And PrinceCaspianWannabe, forgive me if this has already been asked, but do you have any videos or sound clips of you acting/reading? I mean, you look fine, but unfortunately that's not all there is to being suitable for such an important role. ;)

yes, I am making one, and a good fansite takes time, dedication aznd PATIENCE! i have other stuff to do, well nothing besides school and hw, but yeah hang out here.

Well, I have some news to post.

I am a staff member on another Narnia site, and a source (who is auditioning for the part of Caspian) has informed us that they are looking for dark-haired, slightly dark-skinned Spanish/Mediterranean looking people. I'm not giving out any more information than that, but if any of you fit those qualifications and live in England, and have acting experience, then

GO FOR IT! :D
 
No, I'm not misunderstanding. ;) I've been talking to someone who is currently auditioning for the role, and some of the requirements were that you had to be of Spanish/Mediterranean descent. Among other things.

Sounds like they've decided to make the Telmarines of a Mediterranean descent. I'm all for it; it's definitely not what I was expecting, but I love the idea. :D

you are mistaken that news is here as well, they are loking for a king miraz and co. they will be spanish or medditarien. caspian is blond.
 
As far as I read, the report said they had to be growth impaired/restricted. Which means that they're looking for people to portray Black Dwarves. And besides, if Miraz and the Telmarines were so dark, it would make sense to go with the official portrayal of Prince Caspian (i.e. the one on all those book covers), where he's dark-haired. But, once again you could just stick with the possibly-blonde mention in VOTDT, which BTW has a 10 out of 10 rating on the George Lucas Scale of Series Inconsistency ;) , IMHO :p . But whuteva, whuteva, I do what I want. Stinks for me on the whole 'Meditteranean people' thing, 'cause I'm Greek, and they want dwarves. Ooooh vell. As long as the GAPCW's attains victory, I shall be satisfied.
