I am a senior, and I am guilty of both. Well Cigarettes are nasty pieces of *****. The occasional cigar (once every 2 months) with your male friends is classy. You don't inhale so I see it as acceptable. Drinking is not good on a regular basis. However, the occasional buzz (1 a month or less) at a party isn't that bad.

LOL you are the typical party guy who comes to my school. They do all of those things. If you think its right, then you shouldn't feel guilty. I guess there's nothing to be guilty about.

Well, I am not over the edge. I get good grades, I do well. I see it as a way to kick back and relax. I got into the whole "alcohol isn't so bad" after visiting Europe. I realized that we should lower the drinking age to 18. Everyone drinks anyways, yet if it was legal then kids wouldn't binge drink as much. Binge drinking is so dangerous. Last year I didn't touch alcohol at all. Not till over this past summer. Still I do it only occasionally. Don't get dragged into it.

OMGosh I went to Europe this summer and EVERYONE our age was drinking and smoking! Even people younger than us. Well if you do well in school, then good for you. I dont think drinking is bad as long as you don't get drunk all the time.

haha in Britain, kids taste their first alcohol at the age of 14! :eek: and some are even heavy smokers!
haha Europe is such a bad influence lol where did you visit in Europe?
 
My one grandmom who's like 82 smokes (at least I think she still does) and my other grandmom likes alcohol, but she doesn't get drunk or anything. Not even close.
 
our family doesnt smoke and neither do I, I dont get drunk either! But in Switzerland, people would smoke even at 13...I dont get people these days...
 
addiction. its like a trend really, well it is here anyways and wehn i was in school if your friends smoked that you would be "uncool" not to.
