lol, not really. My director keeps yelling at me to slouch, I have good posture.
 
Teehee, I get to be a "brainiac" in HSM. My director likes to typecast people. I'm a "scholar" (aka honors student) at school, so I guess he automatically puts me in that group. I was a nerd in the Grease chorus last year.

And I would love the chance to play something completely opposite from my personality...namely, Lucy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. I'd get to yell the whole time :D And I know the character so well...I love Charlie Brown!!

My theatre friend was Charlie Brown in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown". Great show, I loved it.

Thats one reason why I don't do school plays even though every one says I should... and I don't like the theatre teacher.. he is mean and gay.. I'm not being prejudice, but he isn't a happy gay, he is mean!
Oh and my parents would die if I had to stay after school everyday for rehearsal... but then again.. maybe that way they'd buy me a car... *sigh* I soo want and need a car! Why does gas have to be sooo expensive???

I'm better now, btw, and I've caught up in Theatre. NOw I have to deal with an entire spring break of rehearsals, b/c our show is in 2 weeks, and we're nowhere near done! AAAAAAAAH!!
 
Pssh, no. I'm in the chorus, but we still work ourselves to death. And each of us has to create a character for ourselves, and act like that character, so the background in the play looks natural and all happy-happy instead of boring. It requires a LOT of stupid facial expressions...:rolleyes:

No, I'm totally serious!

I went to see one of the school plays.. one of the greek plays, but I forgot the name, lol (starts with an A) for extra credit in english, because it wasn't a huge performance or anything. And my friend Meredith was working part of it, an usher or something, and so Mr. Mettinger (the mean gay theatre teacher) was like "GET OUT OF THE WAY! DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING"
The funny thing was I was just standing there in no ones way!
so then like 5 minutes later he's like " You, girl.. go check if the bathrooms over there are unlocked!"
So I was like "I hough I wasn't supposed to do anything besides stay out of the way?"
and he got mad, but I checked for him anyways because I'm nice like that, lol.

oh I totally just remembered the name of the play after I posted it!
