No, I'm totally serious!

I went to see one of the school plays.. one of the greek plays, but I forgot the name, lol (starts with an A) for extra credit in english, because it wasn't a huge performance or anything. And my friend Meredith was working part of it, an usher or something, and so Mr. Mettinger (the mean gay theatre teacher) was like "GET OUT OF THE WAY! DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING"
The funny thing was I was just standing there in no ones way!
so then like 5 minutes later he's like " You, girl.. go check if the bathrooms over there are unlocked!"
So I was like "I hough I wasn't supposed to do anything besides stay out of the way?"
and he got mad, but I checked for him anyways because I'm nice like that, lol.

oh I totally just remembered the name of the play after I posted it!
Antigone!

Wait wait wait, I LOVE ANTIGONE! I love Greek plays, they are one of my favorite pieces of literature and performance.

Errgh...I hate it. Well, that's because I've only read it and not seen it. I'm pretty sure if I saw it or re-read it I'd like it. That's how I was with Shakespeare...first, I hated him, then I read Hamlet. Now I like :D

yeah me too. For such a small production and very small audience in the cafeteria court, they did pretty good.

Still to this day I don't like that teacher, even though I want to take a drama class.. I avoided it last year and this year... maybe my senior year.. I've got next year figured out.. I think.

Hello, I'm back! I've been busy with HSM, but now our performances are over :( and all we have left to do is finish taking down the set and cleaning the stage. The show was absolutely amazing--we went from a horrible Faculty Preview of the show to a phenomenal performance on Saturday night. :D I'm sad it's over, though :( A lot of my friends are seniors and will be leaving after this year.

So we finished up our show "My Fair Lady". How did HSM go. Wasn't the rights and royalties really really really high priced!?

so how did the play go?

You were the drunken man, right? lol!

I think I forgot about this thread for a while.. whoops!:D

Well considering Caspian was casted, most people would have... I ended up playing the bartender but took liberties with his part. My director didn't think I was "Drunk Enough"! Pahh

Yeah, but who could ever forget you Evan?
Not drunk enough! haha!
Well at least you were still a part of it all!

I went to the last play Friday night. It was called "All Shook Up" based on Elvis music. It was really good! I'm thinking about trying out next year. I thought about it this year, but I didn't for some reason... can't remember why.

i wish he did get the part. he's much better then Ben Barnes.

Who? Evan?
Well, yeah, none of us knew who Ben Barnes was.

Well he acted in West End so he must be good.

This thread seems strange now since Caspian has been selected, not that we don't support you Evan. I hope you'll get to audition for other roles if there are any in the CON for ya. We won't know if we like Ben Barnes' performance until we see it. We have a year and 2 days to wait for it. I hope it will be better than I'm expecting...we'll see. PC will be the way it will be. At this point none of us can change that.
