Just as they were about to exit the cave they realized it was too late for them to escape. "Place Aries (wounded Ranger) to the far corner!" Elindil said. Without giving a command, Elindil, Maelle, and Liandra, all took out their bows and arrows and got into position at the same time. Step by step they retrieve back in to the cave. Chloe and Ulric looked at each other and did the same.

The steps kept coming closer and closer. The Rangers kept streching the string on their bow farther and farther. Any second, a slight loosening of their grip would send their arrows flying faster than the speed of light.

EDIT: sorry I just read through your posts. When I referred to "They are here!" I meant "enemies"

A girl and wolf stepped into the entrace of the cave. The girl froze seeing the gleeming arrows pointed at her. Elindil slowly lowered her bow, but was still at the ready. "Who are yoU?"

Just like any other RPG. I posted what was going on right after your last post. I even included you into my narratives. You should check it out :)

Right now, my character teleported you to a dark cave where the Leader of the Rangers, Maelle, and a wounded unidentified Ranger are in hiding.

"p-please!! don't kill us!!! I'm Jenna and this is my wolf, Shyan!! were loyal followers of Aslan!!" the girl stammered, placing a hand on the wolf, her body slightly trembling in fear.

Thanks, jsut to lute you know I may not post al ot right away. I'm workig in several RPGs and I'm very busy. But when I do get the chance I'll post.

Liandra lowered her bowl, and with a friendly look on her face she walked over to Jenna. Shyan on the other hand didn't think of Liandra as friendly and started growling at her. Liandra took a couple of steps back.
 
"Hmmm..." Elindil put the arrow back in her quiver. "Good you didn't run into them dwarfes then. We too are loyal to Aslan, will you join us? Just keep the wolf away from my men!"
 
It is so relieving to know that we're not the only ones. How have you managed to come this far without getting noticed by the armies of dwarves that be raiding the woods?

"Shyan stop it! their loyal to Aslan just like we are!" Jenna exclaimed, holding him back by the fur gently, "I'm sorry...He's ussaly not this agressive its just theirs been so many out there who have tried attacks on us and well...hes learned to be on the gaurd.." she looked to Elinda, "...join you?" she asked curiosity in her tone, she looked back to the other girl noticing her qiustion, "It wasn't easy I can tell you that..there were many times we've been attacked but somehow through the grace of Aslan we manged to make it this far.."

"War against the Wizard and his dark forces!" Liandra said as she walked around the room.

"Us? Battle them?" Jenna asked in a worried tone of voice.

"Don't worry, we have a whole ship of Pirates who will be fighting this war with us!" Liandra replied.

"The pirates our on our side?" Jenna asked in surprize, "...will Aslan be joining us in this war?" worry was still written all over her face for she wasn't exactly fond of the idea of war but new they had no other choice.

Aye, but you need not to worry about the Pirates. There might be some tention between us, but we are willing to fight alongside with them..." Liandra looked at JEnna's face. "I'm sorry child, but we all have to fight in some kind of war before we die. Unfortunately we are men, and we are easily blinded by greed," she said.

Maella saw that Jenna held a bag in her hand. "What is it that you hold in your hand? Do you have any food? We haven't eaten in days!....We sent Liandra out to hunt, but she was almost caught by an army of dwarves." :(

Jenna felt a little better knowing that Aslan would be joinging them in the war though nervouseness and worry still clung at her heart, she had never faught in a battle before, she had only watched from the sidelines she remembered Aslan preparing her if she would ever need to fight in a war...though she never exspected the day for her to fight to come so soon..."I-I'll try to do whatever I can to be at your service and at Aslan's" she stammered, trying to surpress the fear she felt inside, she turned Maella hearing her comment about the bag she was carrying, "Oh! yes...well...their should be some food in their..its not much and part of it I brought along for Shyan...but your welcome to whatevers in there..." she handed them the bag, a kind expression on her face.
 
Maella took the bag and started digging looking for something to eat. She found half a loaf of bread and she pulled it out of the bag. She was about to break it but then Elindil took it away from her. "I think a bite of two will be enough. Remember she needs to eat too," she said.

"I'm sorry," Maella said. "Its that its been days! But your right, a bite or two will do. At least we have water to wash it down! That's what has kept us alive so far."

"After we're done, we need to search which be the safest route for the pirates to travel. I have no problem going, but I'll need someone to come along with me. Jenna, are you up for a good challenge?"
 
Jenna looked up quickly hearing her name, "Challenge? of course! might as well get used to this kind of stuff from now on anyways!" there was the slightest bit of nervouseness to her tone of voice but she placed a hand closet to her bow, showing she was ready, "I can't emegen only living on water...hey! if you guys are looking for food I know a place where there is plenty of food!!"

"Yes," Chloe said simply readjusting the bow on her shoulder.
 
Belleth watched everyone carefully. She didn't say much, but it was clear she didn't trust much. She watched Jenna's every move same with the new knight. She wanted to make sure no one would fool them, and nothing escaped her sharp eyes. She saw the bread but made sure she said nothing of it. They needed to eat more than she, she was stronger than many and they needed it.
