"Benji is something wrong?" Ri asked concerned.

 

[Josh the Jester]

"No no", he said with a smile. "I'm fine:, he said as he stopped at the front of the stairs.

 

[Nightcrawler_Fan]

"You know you're welcome to stay." Ri said with a smile.

 

[Josh the Jester]

"I know.....", he began with a smile. "Forgive me for acting all weird back there....I.." He started again , but shut his mouth.

 

[Nightcrawler_Fan]

Ri just looked at him with a smile and walked into the basement. "If you don't want to tell me that's fine Benji." She said.

 

[Josh the Jester]

"No....it's just.....I'll wait until the time is right", he said turning the his amp on and picking his bass.

 

[Nightcrawler_Fan]

"Sure." Ri said watching him. "You want some pizza?"

 

[Josh the Jester]

"Sure...I am pretty hungry", he said with a smile.

 

[Nightcrawler_Fan]

Ri grabbed a plate and put three slices of pizza on it. "Here ya go." She said handing it to Benji. "Want some soda with that?" She asked.

 

[Josh the Jester]

"Yes please...ma'am", he said with mock courtesy.

 

[Nightcrawler_Fan]

Ri laughed and poured him a glass of soda. She bowed offering it to him. "Here you are sir." She said almost spilling the glass she was laughing so hard.

 

[Josh the Jester]

"Settle down now", he said with a laugh. "You don't want to make a mess", he said with a smile.

 

[Nightcrawler_Fan]

"You're right." Ri said reluctantly. "I guess I'm more like my brother than I thought." She grinned. "At least I don't abandon my sister for another girl." She grinned. "I'm teasing of course."

 

[Josh the Jester]

"Are you really teasing, or are actually jealous", he said jokingly.

 

[Nightcrawler_Fan]

"Maybe I am just a little bit. Luna and Matt have had crushes on each other for forever. And I knew. But I could never tell them. Then tonight they get together. My brother and I have always hung out together and..... Now he'll spend more time with my best friend then me" Ri sighed. "Ok maybe I'm a lot jealous. But I'll get over it. Eventually." She smiled weakly.

 

[Josh the Jester]

"Hey you got me and Jacky", he said putting his hand on her shoulder, and squezing it lightly.

 

[Nightcrawler_Fan]

Ri smiled at him. "Thanks. You have no idea how much that means to me."

 

[Josh the Jester]

"No problem; and if it makes you feel any more better, I must say that I an an only child", he said before taking a bite of his pizza.

 

[Nightcrawler_Fan]

"Really?" Ri asked in amazement. "I can't imagine being an only child. It would be so.. so... boring." She said getting another slice of pizza.

 

[Josh the Jester]

"Yea it is, but I learned to live without siblings", he said after taking a drink of his pop.
