Susan had been staring down at the ground, her head quickly snapping up as soon as she heard her brothers vioce, she ran to him, grasping his hands for a moment, tightly, "oh, Edmund....the reason why Rabadash wanted to speak alone with me...is so he c-could propose to me" her vioce was somewhat shaky for she still felt flightly shaken up from her encounter with Rabadash.

“ By Jove, I should have known.” Edmund squeezed her hand slightly in a loving brotherly manner.” Rabadash…I knew it was only a matter of time Su. I am sorry for putting you in that position. I mean leaving you alone with him I should have...” Edmund stopped closing his eyes for a moment. “ I am sorry I am rambling.” He smiled at his sister seeing that her spirits had lifted just a bit. “ Well at least you are not late for dinner.” He laughed trying to lift the mood then his smile vanished. “ Did you accept him?”

Susan could feel her spirts lift when Edmund sqeezed her hand lovingingly, a smile slowly crept across her face for she found Edmunds humour to create a kind of warming to the atmosphere, "well, I did promise to be home for dinner now didn't I?" she said with the same humour as her brother, her smile vanishied hearing the next thing her brother asked and she could feel her heart begin to beat slightly faster, "no.....atleast not yet I told him I would have to have a lot of time to think his offer over before giving him the ansher.....oh, Edmund I don't know what to do" she sighed, a panicky stressed expression overcoming her features as she looked up into her brothers gentle eyes.
 
Edmund took his sister by the shoulders. “Susan, I must say I am relived to hear what you have said. I thought that Rabadash’s charm might have gotten the better of you.” He smiled and wrapped one arm around her and began to walk the hall. “ Susan take your time. Don’t rush an answer either way.” Edmund smiled and gave her shoulder a bit of a squeeze, “ And if he renews his wishes to you I will sick my dogs on him and send the army to string him up by his toes.” With that he smiled.

Susan smiled from Edmunds arm around her and began walking down the hall the same pace he walked, feeling slightly relieved from her brothers soft words, "to be honest Edmund, for a moment I thought Rabadashes Charm and king words might have won me over also.....which was a pretty scary feeling...but in the end I didn't let his kind words and flatter win me over becuase I always kept in the back of my mind, that what if he really wasn't what all he had put on to be....." she saif softly, resting her head on her brothers shoulder for a moment while they were walking. she felt him sweeze her shoulder and chuckled a lil from what he said, "thank you ever so much Edmund I don't know how I would ever manage without you" she lifted her head, looking up at her brother with a soft smile for she was more then thankful for his sopport.
 
Edmund rested his head on his sister's. " YOu know you will always have my support Susan." with that they entered the room where everyone else waited impatiantly for the news of what had happened.

Susan smiled softly greatful for her brothers comfort. when they intered the room her heart began to race again for she always hated breaking news to a nuch of people exspecially if they may not like the news...

None said a word and a weird ambience filled the room as everyone was too awkward to say anything. Edmund let go of Susan's arm and took a few steps forward looking around the room. He walked over to poor himself a glass of fresh wine.
"Well don't everyone speak at the same time." with a bit of a chuckle he rose the glass to his lips and took a sip. Again looking around him he frowned, " Did someone die? Because by how much everyone is talking I would think so." He then let out a slight chuckle and the tension was broken every one felt a bit more at ease.

Susan walked to her borthers side, smileing nervously even though most of the tention had been broken she still felt a certain uneasyness as she remembered Rabadashes offer...."Ed's right everyone by the looks of it I should think we were at a funeral" she said, letting out a small laugh.
smileing softly Lucy walked out from amost the croud up to her brother and sister, "well..I for one sure are glad that dreadful Rabadash has finally left the castle" she said, giving a small chuckle but Susan only smiled and let out a nervous laugh.
 
((dose prince Corin come to the castle at around this time? if so i will play him. Sorry that i have not replied, but i have been very busy with school lately, i will post whenever i can))

Edmund slowly lowered the glass from his lips setting it on the table beside him. He looked up at Susan and smiled a warm loving smile but she knew something was up.
" Ok Su, why don't you just tell them and have it over with?" He knew she hated the thought of telling everyone but sooner or later it was going to have to happen. The four siblings were gathered now and Tumnus, the dearest of friends, and the raven their advisor, who else should know? No one but those gathered should and Edmund knew that, and he knew that Susan did too.
 
((i mean dosent King Lune Take Prince Corin to Cair Paravel for some reason, then Susan, Tumnas, Edmund and the Reven go to the city in Calormene and mistake Shasta/Prince Cor for him?, if so then i offered to play him because we don't seem to have anyone else that can join the role play, just untill someone came to play him. In your post you mentioned "The four siblings" isen't Peter gone away? Sorry for being picky. By the way, i love your fan-fic TFT, i check for an update everytime i come onto the forum :) ))

Tumnus gazed around nervously, The same thoughts constantly nagging his mind "What could Rabadash want here? What has Susan got to do with it? Is it a bad thing?" He expected the worst but did not change his expression, he just waited for Susan to give her explenation.

Susan took a deep breath, galnceing around at all her sibleings and their Dearest friend Mr. Tumnus she new these were the only ones who needed to know though she still felt nervous inside and hated the thought of telling anyone else what Rabadash had wanted....she looked at Edmund nodding slightly, "alright my Dear friends and family the reason why Rabadash came here is becuase he wanted my hand in marage.....I havn't excepted his offer yet but I did tell him that I would have to wait and get to know him a little more before I make any decitions...." she held her breath almost dreading what the others reponse would be.
Lucy stood close to Mr. Tumnus, giving her sister a reassuring look...she didn't like the idea of Rabadashes off to Susan in the least though she stayed silent waiting to see the others responces.

((heh, sorry I'm not really sure about any of that...heh, but I'm sure The Forgiven Traitor will be able to ansher your qioustions...that would be great if you could play Shasta/Prince Cor though! ^.^))

I think at the moment the siblings are still at Care Paravel and have yet to go to Colorman seeing how Rabadash came to Narnia. So Cor and Shasta are yet to be seen in the story unless you want to kinda branch off and RP Cor's life before his adventure in that case I would love to play bree. :D
 
I mean Prince Corin, the prince who is in Archenland the whole time, the known son of King Lune. Not Shasta/Prince Cor.
I thought that Prince Corin came to Cair paravel, then they went to the city in Calormene because of Rabadash.
If no-one else played Corin, then i would so that the role play would go on.
I may be wrong, could you check the book :confused:
 
yeah, that would be great :)
The only reason that i would play Corin myself is that you both have two characters and i only have one, also he woulden't have to say much which is good for me because of School and Exams and things

“Oh come now Mr. Tumnus, you know she is incapable of that." Turning to his very pale sister he continued, "See now,” Edmund said placing a hand on Susan’s arm, “ That wasn’t so bad was it? And you were fretting so. Come let us gather in the dining hall I for one am starved.” Edmund did his best to relive the pressure of his sister and lighten but the mood.
