Everyone looks lovely! I figured 'what the heck' and grabbed up a camera. This is me a couple days ago:

Heh.

I can't do a hand-stand, but I can clearly see Primsong looks great. Beautiful eyes. And nose.

I'm with CF. A prominent nose is a lovely feature. :)

Primsong, your face reminds me of a friend from my military days, an Army woman named Isabella. This is a compliment; Isabella was (and still is since she also left the service) gorgeous both inside and outside.

Heh.

What the Heck indeed! Is that red hair and green eyes I see? or is it the reflection of the red hot chili peppers? :)

Oxford Girl: you will always look lovely!

It's dark blonde, only a little red in it - but yeah, green they are! I enjoy colorful shirts, this just happened to be a day where I had one on that was more colorful than most. :-D The odd angle is because I just held it up over my head, lol... Thank you for your kind comments!

Oxford girl, you have such a lovely full mouth - I remember years ago when all the celebs and such were getting collagen injections in an attempt to have such a pretty look, and that temporarily, and here you have it naturally.

I just want to say something really quick; Everyone is really beautiful. But here is what mainly matters, and its said quite clearly in this quote. "People are like stained glass. They're beautiful when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, they are only beautiful if there is a light from within."

God Bless you all!

Amen! I've known some people who were most assuredly not modeling material by any stretch of the imagination but they were simply *beautiful* people. And I've known lovely-looking people with horrible personalities as well. The light within, as you say, is all that matters in the long run anyway.

Sometimes, what the fa\hion industry considers prettty and what you consider pretty are two completely different things. Cuz some models...are really not...so good looking. But if you've got a face high fashon would love, and a lovely face, and are lovely, well..thats lovely! like CHANEL IMAN! or COCO ROCHA! or...Sasha pivovarova, or you know..the other pretty ones

Dark blonde and green eyes are pretty! From any angle!

Look, I know that it's politically correct, and makes people feel good, to say "Everyone is beautiful." But if you insist on this, then the WORD "beautiful" no longer has ANY meaning except "existing." So then--just like what happens with the evasive euphemisms for disability--you have to find some OTHER word to mean people whom lots of other people enjoy looking at.

Get-Well Flowers

Only reason ever to be sick: to get flowers! I got tons of them, and they made me so happy.

* The hydrangeas and irises came from a client.
* The three arrangements together came from my hubby (and dog), my mum, and my brother and sis-in-law.
* The fruit dish came from my older brother, sis-in-law and niece. It was a great get-well basket! Those hearts are pineapple, the dark berries are actually chocolate-covered strawberries, plus there were more strawberries; yummie.

I got another great arrangment in a beautiful blue cobalt vase, but I didn't know til today when I downloaded the photos that my picture of it didn't come out right. I also have a photo of my hubby playing the fool to make me laugh. He put my bracelet from the hospital that said FALL RISK on his head. I will download post that tomorrow ...

My friend came to visit me here at college and we were just hanging out on the steps of the library and I had my camera and I got bored so I snapped this pic, played with some of the effects and BAM! I really like how it turned out.

The pink chucks are me ^_^

it's kinda random but that's just how I am

That fruit arrangements is so funny, Jax! And the flowers are lovely. Did you just take this pic? I was wondering if your power is back on then.

That is such a cool effect, QueenofNarnia. Your pink shoes and the shadows are very interesting. I know nothing about photography so I can't say anything smart about it, but I really like how the colors came out.

I love the pink chucks! I used to have some ancient ones! I just threw them out the other day when I realized no one over age 18 who wasn't playing basketball was wearing them. :(

I took the photos when the flowers were fresh, and finally downloaded them yesterday. And yes, the power came back on Friday night late, after 15 days without power!!!

Here's the plant my pastor and his wife sent me in the hospital. The delivery man came in with this huge bizarre arrangement of grotesque plants, reeds and curling willows in this crazy urn that looked like an ornate pot you would have seen in an antique funeral home. He set it up in the one space big enough for it, and the nurse gave me the card which was addressed to a totally different person, apparently a man, on a different floor, in a different room. By the time I figured this out, the nurse and the flower man were gone, so I hadda ring for the nurse, a little bitty lady, who hefted that huge ridiculous arrangement out, chased down the delivery man, and brought me back the plant from my church: a nice plant with long glossy green leaves and sweet yellow flowers poking out of it. I was so much happier with that ... I brought it home, and it is still alive!

The other photo is my husband being goofy with my FALL RISK bracelet on his head. :)
