We come here alla time, and actually the people here are some of the nicest I've ever met in the Caribbean. :) They have very little crime, and that's why they were so bumfoozled by that awful case! (The main suspects were not Arubiano men, by the way, the one main one was Dutch and the 2 brothers were Surinamese.)
 
Rainy Day on Aruba

I am so mad! I only had 2 jobs on my list for today, and they are both done, so I wanted to go to the Ostrich Farm. But it's pouring down rain here -- the road to the farm would be a mess and I can't imagine trying to shoot photos of the ostriches in the rain. Bah!

So here are some other photos I took here. The seascapes are the view from our hotel window, and the bird was sitting in a tree just off our balcony this morning. I guess I will have to wait for summer to visit the Ostrich Farm cuz we fly to Curacao tomorrow. :mad:

Here -- I've resorted to the Photo Booth feature on my computer out of boredom since I can't go to the Ostrich Farm.

That is a huge compliment coming from someone who is not from here. Here in TX you are brainwashed (or at least were ... that's a topic unto itself) brainwashed from the time you were first in school to 'Remember the Alamo".
