I've read the novelized version of Revenge of the Sith, and it was excellent. It explained a lot of things that were and weren't in the movie (like why Qui-gon was so different from the other jedi, why the order really fell apart, etc.). It's the only star wars book I've read, I admit heh '^^

My opinion, with the latest movie, I have lost some respect for LucasArts. I mean c'mon. I haven't seen it. But the animation from some stupid Cartoon Network show on the big screen? A learner jedi? What is this?

I did like the first Clone Wars TV series. That was worthwhile. It was comic book type which I like. I liked the detail behind the scenes of Anakin -> Darth look. And conversations weren't corny.

Does anybody read EU (extended universe). I love that stuff.

Bounty Hunter were good. Well the book I'm thinking of was, the one with all the tales of the bounty hunters?

And the little series, I think New Jedi Order, with the planet gravity controller thing on Corellia. Good stuff. Stephen J. Anderson, is my personal favorite.

That new novel, Legacy of the Force - Betrayal. Was a good read, I was able to get the free LTD. digital download.

I love the old Star Wars movies. The new ones bug me. Of course, the acting was sort of bad in the old ones too, it's just the new ones are.....lacking the origionality of the old. And Han Solo is not in the new ones. And he's totally cute. xD.

But I like Star Wars....things blow up and people die. What's not to like? I haven't seen Clone Wars, and I don't plan too.

Spanish, if you don't like the prequel series, you are gonna hate Clone Wars, so don't watch it.
office, I have written a review in my site and it is in Bulgarian, but I will try to condense my impressions. "Clone Wars" is an animation movie and it is clearly lighter than the major motion pictures. Anakin and Obi-Wan fight huge droid armies at the planet of Christoforis, when they are given a dire warning by master Yoda - Jabba the Hutt's son is captured and now must be saved before the gangster allies himself with the villainous count Dooku. The situation is complicated when Anakin is given a padawan, young, hotheaded lady named Asoka. With Asoka he travels to the planet of Teth, when the little Hutt is located, while Obi-wan wents to Tatooine to negotiate with Jabba. Of course, Jabba's son is captured by the Separatist and now Dooku has set a deadly trap, in which the Jedi are walking into...
This movie, unlike episodes II and III is lacking tragism. It is focused on action and humour. Anakin here IS a hero and you can't catch the darkness within him. His relations with Asoka are cute. The villains are unpleasant and the Hutt are hillarious. The action is intense and interesting.
Overall, a cool movie for Star Wars geeks like me:cool:
