Story of a Servant

Thank you :) I hope you have a warm and wonderful Christmas too.

Is that Latin? I take Latin but I can't understand a word of the language

I would be willing to try, although I am pretty bad at things like that... if I did you would have to find me a picture of Kari though I'm afraid. I searched for a very long time and couldn't find one that would suit her. you might have a better idea of where to look... Here's an example of a banner I've made though. If it asks for a password it's Evanescence

Kind of, until my exams are over. They're from the 15th-19th of Jan, and I have to start studying......I should be studying right now actually...

Yes, Princey, my motto "Ut fidem praestem in difficultate" is in Latin, as is traditional for chivalrous mottos. Note the similarity between "fidem" and our word "fidelity;" and of course, "difficultate," with the final E sounding like our long A, is recognizable. I had this motto prepared for me when I was caring for my first wife in her long terminal illness, and I repeated it to myself many times while I struggled to help her. Now I still use it to steady myself as I do things for my _second_ wife, who has non-lethal but serious medical problems of her own.

Well, my hopes go out to you and your wife. It must have been very hard when your first wife had terminal illness...I'm thankful to God that I've never known how it feels to lose someone I love.

How was your Christmas and New Year, Copperfox?

Probably next week........I'll be busy this week as I have exams Monday-Friday, and I won't come on at the weekend as it's my b'day on Saturday.

Thanks, even though it was about 10 days ago :D

-looks guilty- Sorry for not updating folks. As I said, things are getting mighty busy at school even after the exams. I promise to try and write more whenever possible, but that's proving very difficult.
