Am I the only one looking forward to the new Disney movie coming out on Thanksgiving Day? Yeah, I know that it's a Disney princess movie, but the trailers are so hilarious! :D Are any of you guys going to see the movie?

*SPOILERS*

Here is the wikipedia page.

Here is one of the trailers.

Be forewarned that there are significant spoilers in both the wikipedia plot synopsis and throughout this thread!

I would see it if Narnia wasn't coming out in December, and I'm already planning on seeing Narnia at least twice in theaters...maybe 3 times if I can get my dad to agree to get a group from our church to go see it.

But it looks cute, and PluggedIn gave a good review of it.

Yeah, because of VDT, my sister and I won't be seeing Tangled in theaters. But we'll rent it when it's out on DVD. The PluggedIn review made me really happy. I had feared that Disney might ruin the movie by putting too much magic/sorcery into the story or too much crudity, so I'm glad that it's good!

I didn't like Monsters INC., but I found Up extremely moving. Every time I see it, I want to laugh and cry and hug my dog. :p

I think I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD. I'd love to see it in theaters, but it costs as much to get tickets for me, my sister, and my dad as it would to buy the movie when it comes out and watch it until the disc wears out! :p We'll probably wait and rent it, especially since we'll be going to see VDT in theaters.

Yup, or I'll borrow a friend's copy. :p I don't like buying films without having seen them first.

Same here. The only time my family has done that is with Veggietales movies and with Up. But then, my sister and I had seen so many clips online that it was almost as if we had seen the movie.

Lol, yeah, I can name on about one hand the movies I've bought without having seen them first. The only mistake I made with that is that I bought Pirates 3 without seeing it first. And Pirates 2 as well; I saw the first 15 minutes and then bought the movie.

I had also considered buying Ratatouille without seeing it, and after I saw it, I was glad I hadn't bought it. My money is far too precious to waste on a movie that I might not like after buying.

My dad buys Veggietales movies before seeing them as well LOL. We just all know that they will be great :p. As for other movies, though... I think we bought WallE, Princess and the Frog, and Pirates 2 before seeing them :p.

I don't know about Tangled... It looks decent, but with all the other movies coming out reccently, am not going to have any money to see it LOL, so I'll just wait until it comes out on DVD.

Ooh, lucky you! Do tell us more what you thought of it! Was Flynn as awesome as he looks in the trailers? What about the horse? :D

My sisters, youngest brother, and I all saw this last night.:D It was a really fun movie. The only problem was the villain didn't seem, I don't know, villainous enough? until right at the end. But it was definitely one of the better Disney cartoons. When I first saw the trailers I thought it was going to be all crude-humor-cynical-Shrek-ish, but it wasn't. And I liked the way it was animated. Overall, I'd give it about an 8 out of 10.
