Thank you very much! Felt I needed to show my love for it.

I just... the trailers made it look TERRIBLE. And then I SAW it and I died at the magicfulness. It was great. It was better than Princess and the Frog imo. <3

I beg to differ... All I've seen are the trailers, and they've convinced me that I'll like it. And I still haven't seen the movie. :p I never like Disney princess movies, but this movie looks so AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

*squeebles* zomg! It's - even if you liked the trailers - soooo much more amazing than anything can prepare you for. It's got the whole typical disney princess thing going but something about it seems a lot fresher and things!
And Flynn = best animated male disney character person evers.

Nice! :D I can't wait to see it. :D

From the trailers and movie clips I've seen, Flynn looks AMAZING. >.< Usually the princes in Disney movies are all pasteboard and hideous and speak a few cliche lines and kiss the girl and that's it. But Flynn is so CUTE! And he's so dashing! And he's so witty and awesome! And I can't believe I'm saying this! :D

I absolutely adored Tangled! In fact its tied for my favorite movie this year (the other film is Toy Story 3)!

First I must commend Disney for once again taking a famous fairytale and adapting it brillantly! The music was enchanting, several of numbers were catchy like "Mother Knows Best" and "I Have A Dream." Each character was engaging and charming (except maybe Gothel, but for good reason.). I fell in love with Rapunzel's character, she is witty, cute, intelligent, and innocent. She captures all the best elements of princess or damsel in distress. Flynn is perfect anti hero hero, he adds a great dynamic to the story as the matcho and clumsy thief.

The supporting characters are full of life as well, in particular Maximus the horse adds another elment of humor to the story arch. Maximus reminds me of hound crossed with a gladiator. XD

Finally, the message of the film is touching. We like Rapunzel should fallow our dreams and not allow anyone to marginlize or hinder us form using our gifts and talents. There is also messianic message, but to avoid spoilers I shall not mention any details about it.

I recently purchased the Tangled Soundtrack, I intend to listen to it during this weekend. :)

I suppose you could call me a Tangler. XD

Well, it's nice to know it's worth seeing.

It won't be screening in my country for another month or so though.

I am curious to find out how a girl with 70 feet of hair can practically move around.

And I'm now picturing the look on the animators face when they heard that:

"She has 70 feet of what!!!!"

For context, hair is one of the hardest things to animate in CGI.

Hah hah hah! :D

70 feet of hair is pretty unrealistic for moving around. ;)

I found a couple interviews with the directors and they said that the animators' reactions were just about as you predicted. a lot of O.O looks and things...
they did a FANTASTIC job at it though.

Haha, having done animation myself, I can see how hair wouldn't be fun to animate

and I saw it again yesterday :D

I've been listening to Tangled soundtrack. I especially love When Will My Life Begin and Mother Knows Best Reprise "Rapunzel Knows Best". :)

Same here. :) My sister and I both love the soundtrack, and have listened to the songs over and over again on youtube! :) The song "I've got a dream" never fails to make us laugh. :D "...Vladmir collects ceramic unicorns..." :p

I love the songs, but I love the score even more.

"Campfire" and "kingdom dance" are my two favorites - probably because I love both those scenes.

Kingdom Dance is that great connecting point between Campfire's; 'kind of growing fond of each other' and I See The Light's; 'zomg totally in luuurve' XD

Kinda like 'something there' in Beauty and the Beast.

The Kingdom Dance has a very Renassiance Faire/Medieval quality to it. :)
